i think only moto G 3ed gen makes some sense cos, lets face it 410 chipset is also available in Redmi2(which is an excellent mobile) but the option for 2gb ram &16gb rom and features from X series & unique shake features makes moto G 3ed gen worthy. on the other hand X series stands for superior hardware. 1st & 2ed gen Moto X had s4pro and 801 chipset which are really powerful. so in that manner, new MotoX Style & Play does not impress me. i would rather buy Sony Z1 (17k) or OnePlus One (18k) or Sony Z Ultra (14k) which are VFM and also unbeatable at this price point.

snapdragon 615 will be slow with time unable to process multiple apps.

but their software can't be optimized both on raw & compressed format,
no one on earth claims you can trust DXO mobile, cause that's outta their territory.
when you talk about DXO just talk raw shooting & nothing else.that's their only strong point,

AnonD-293750, 02 Aug 2015It's better in his opinion. you gotta remember these things on this site. It's all opinionated.I think you don't know about "DXO mark" very well. Thats normal if you are not in photography. Check out DXO mark or ask a photographer or any photography enthusiast. They used to do ranking/scoring on camera sensors only, now they are doing lens & recently (about an year or so) smartphone camera. Conclusion: If DXOmark give a high score, THAT CAMERA HAVE TO PRODUCE GOOD IMAGES & you can buy cameras blindly based on DXOmark scores, you won't be disappointed by the image quality of that camera GUARANTEED . (I bought my Nikon D5100 5 years ago based on their score & dpreview.com).
