I thought EC rules state prices must be same in all EC countries, except for variations in VAT. It is after all supposed to be one market.

Seems like they got abit scared of Motorolas and Oneplus 2s agressiver prices. Though this is the real starting price for S6s they were overpriced and this is the real value. Not that they aren't very good phones as, but just the pricing ticked me off. Way higher starting price than any Galaxy before.

Of course here in Portugal FNAC has to sell it 99 cents above the recommended price.

They are never ever cheaper than that.

vrvly, 31 Jul 2015Why is mem so pricy that 128GB ver. of phone is for 1000euro? Why is 32GB non expandable in fl... moreNot really a mistery. If you can add a card, why should you buy extremely expensive version with 64 or 128GB? It works for apple so it works for samsung, too. Besides there was an article where they admitted it plainly.

Wazza G, 31 Jul 2015Still way too expensive for what they are. So I'll still be looking at an LG or Sony instead o... moreAnd LG and Sony, those aren't expensive?

I don't get this childish attempt of high price trolling for Samsung phones only, at what price did that garbage G4 release? At what price M9 was launched? At what price Xperia Z3 was launched?

Exactly how much common sense one needs to be not an ar-e?

xocomaox, 31 Jul 2015Sapphire glass would just cost too much. besides, does anyone actually scratch their phone any... moreYou are serious? you must look in almost any smartphone at least 6 month old into the sunlight and you will see the shallow scratches
And Apple fdounded a way to made that sapphire more cheap for them since they bankrupt the GT and even founded a way to make millions of them/month

Sammy is behind, Apple had the iphone4/4s with double glass but they went forward with aluminiu so only 1 surface to scratch and in 2016 even that problem will be gone with sapphire crystal while sammy/sony is behind with the build construction by 3-4 years
