So gentlemen,
Era of Galaxy Note is over, legend is dead burried in history...
Shameless Shamesung f.kd up again something amazing, for that people who have no idea about SD cards and thinking reason is its performance.
No, not at all...
SD card doesn't affects overall performance of the device, if it was so then S6 could be unmatchable performer but its not.
Yes it is fastest smart phone at the moment but not because of UFS 2 and it doesn't perform like Blazing flash speeder...

It is a marketing policy, Samsung is one the biggest flash storage maker and they want to push market to use Flash storage instead of MMC storage.
Why?
If Flash storage usage growns up enough then all manufacturers will knock the door of sammy and beg for Flashchips.

Current hi/mid-quality microSD UHS 1 cards capable of the transfer rates about 40-50 MEGA BYTES PER SECOND, NOT MEGA BITS PER SECOND (WE ARE LIVING IN 2015 NOT 1995) and costs only 25-30 euro (64 GB), very cheap isn't it?

Manufacturers are not so happy with that price but there is nothing they can do because people doesn't care about how fast it is and chooses cheap ones.
It is a fact that a good quality 32 gb Class 10 MicroSDHC is more than enough for an average user for daily usage. (Music, photo, video etc...)

Galaxy Note 4 32 gb is about 600-650 euros, 32 gb MicroSD UHS 1 is 12 euro, 64gb MicroSD UHS 1 is 30, 128gb microSD UHS 1 is 65 totally 665 euros for 64 gb, 680 euros for 96 gb and 720 for 160 gb Galaxy Note 4.
Galaxy S6 32 gb is about 550 euros, 64 gb variant 670 euro, 128 gb is 790 thus 120 euro per 64gb.
790 - 550 = 240, for 20 euro extra you can buy 4 times 128 gb MicroSD UHS 1 card...

If they going to remove SD slot then they should provide cheap 128gb/256gb/512gb storage options (Which they will never).

Anonymous, 02 Aug 2015There's still some distance from the top/bottom of the display to the beginning of the roundin... moreSo how thin do you want for upper and lower bezel? As thin as the side? If so, then good luck handling it.
And assume you're a product designer AND a bezel expert, kindly tell me where will you put the front cam, ambient sensor and speaker (assuming the navigational button placed onscreen & that logo placed on the back). Even SHARP Aquos Crystal have some compromise by putting all those elements in the lower bezel.

Geez, why everybody seems to have a bezel fetish these days?

There's still some distance from the top/bottom of the display to the beginning of the rounding of the corners. Why is it that Samsung cant/wont eliminate that distance for a reduction of the bezel top/bottom? Who is it that wants a device thats taller than necessary?

It's a novelty at first -- a proof of concept developers can play with in order to come up with new use cases for a curved display. And yeah, it also doubles as a luxury item for well-heeled geeks to show off at parties. In the end, Samsung just love innovating with their tech just to play around with it untill they could find something that could really works.

My next phone will be Note 5. I won't mind the lack of a micro SD because I never really use it on my S4. The internal memory is more than enough for a temp storage. As for the removable battery, now they are selling power banks with Quick charge 2.0.

Samsung is going to dig itself a hole this year. When other phones release for a fraction of the price, early adopters of the phone are going to get angry. Theyve already slashed the s6 $100. mobile device market getting crowded. No wonder Windows is hanging in the back burner.
