Anonymous, 01 Aug 2015Delete-able samsung apps. If all samsung apps can be deleted then it will be no different than... moreI agree with you. Stock Android is boring. Samsung livens up Android. For instance just yesterday I was on YouTube checking out the Lollipop Graphical User Interface on the Motorola Nexus 6 to see how it compares to Lollipop on the Galaxy S5 and trust me it's a whole lot prettier on the S5. I have never complained about Touchwiz because it's a much more feature rich and prettier overlayer than stock Android.

There will always be stupid people to ruin their phone whether it's rooted by default or not.

2ndly, kids nowdays are more tech-savy than you think. They could google root easily. OS rooted by default makes no difference to them.

Only in China? The option to uninstall bloatware should be worldwide.

Bloatware not only takes up storage, it also eats away at RAM and battery as the OS is set to keep apps favored by manufacturer preloaded in memory. Even apps I have never started are preloaded in RAM in my Samsung phone!

A better way would be to not install this stuff in the first place, and instead OFFER these bundleware apps to the users via Google Play, so those who actually WANTS, say, Flipboard or Trip Advisor could install them, actually ENJOY them, and give them good ratings.

How ironic the fact that Apple is assembled in China but no one sue them. Even Apple fan complain. You should do what they did in China in the US to see if it works. You might be able to get rid of that software.

There is plenty of people who is really stupid and managed to get their computer filled with bloatware, spyware, malware, bots and viruses. Who knows if one person remove the Gapps or some system app shouldn't be remove in the first place will cry to the whole world that the phone manufacturer made them do this and manage to break the phone. Again, bad idea. Also... children can download apps that can wreak havoc in the phone without realizing what they are doing.

I highly doubt, if it would happen in the American market. CIA/NSA wouldn't be able to spy anymore on their citizens that case. That is why the Rogue/useless apps are pre-built into the handsets. If you noticed recently every app you download from the store, you solely give the app creator the permission to access your phone content, keyboard data, webcam/microphone and as such. Don't you find that so fishy? Even if you don't use an app, You can still find it running in the background sucking battery. Good luck with your next samsung/Apple/Windows phone !
