OK, so I guess my gf is, as you say "among the lucky Portuguese who already purchased it".

I've tried it, it feels solid in hand, and it's not cheap looking at all.

At 149.90 EUR it's not a bad choice.
Better than the Corby, anyway.

I got the Nokia 5800 for £127 new a few days ago. It only has a 434mhz processor and 128MB RAM. Don't let that fool you, it's quick! It's because Symbian was designed to use minimal resources, and the UI isn't dumped on like HTC's Sense UI on WM devices, in Symbian S60 Release 5, the UI is a part of the OS itself, nice job Nokia =).

comparing this with , 21 Dec 2009I think i still prefer 5530, even if this has 3G, because 5530 has a high res screen (with 16M... moreYeah Symbian Smartphone much BETTER.

I think i still prefer 5530, even if this has 3G, because 5530 has a high res screen (with 16M color, not silly 256K) and is a smartphone... However the theme is atrociously ugly, and installing third party themes makes the phone slow.

the featurelist does look good but the color-back just doesnt give a elegant or formal look and looks cheap as well, wonder how the ergonomics will be and how much solid the device will be.
