Great article. For those who live outside US like me, you can access Netflix, Hulu and similar media stations on your Samsung Blu Ray by using UnoTelly or similar tools.

Not available for all users worldwide... moreUhhh. The thing with android is that the darn thing allows the user to stop such background apps form running and one more important detail is that androids would give the user the total view of how the RAM is consumed.Unlike iphones doesnt even tell me how much free ram space is usable.Lags when i play music and when playing a game at the same time.

Touchwiz is still bloated. Too many services run in background consuming a lot of ram.
There are google services and samsung services run in background at the same time, and both have the same functionality. Thats why tuchwiz always need huge ram to run "almost" smoothly (but still laggy compared to ios and wp).

The article failed to include Samsung's other well known areas, which include shipping, engineering (electrical and construction), logistics and protective devices. For example, Samsung earthmovers are quite popular in the category.

The article clearly focus on electronics (and phones, of course, as GSM Arena would be popular with) and failed to share the complete footprint of the company.

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2015No. Actually, samsung have made laggy android devices with their bloated ram eater touchwiz. That is old news. We can delete bloatware in Samsung devices now and make it lag free. And of course you won't know that because you an isheep with oversaturated Apple bloatware that you have no choice but to use it. Iphone homescreen is crowded with apps and no apps drawer to help to organize that. We also call that basketful of apple bloatware.
