In my field of work, I cannot afford to be tied to a charger in any way which is why I use a battery charger for my two extra note 3 batteries. In my opinion, no card slot and non user-replaceable batteries are two steps backward.
no sd slot, non removable battery, iphonish looks, no thanks, I will stick to my note 4, if samsung corrects these failures, I will consider a note 6
I moved on... I bought LG G4 considering the screen of a note. LG G4 with a 5.5" QHD Screen is amazing and less lag than a Note series from Samsung.. Processor wise its only Snappy 808, but performace wise, battery and camera the best... Using it from past 1 week and loving the phone. Note 5 looks like a ditto built of Mi Note and Mi Note Pro...
" Forgot to mention " LG G4 1 watt speaker is better than even M9 +....
Okay. No SD slot. Non-removable smaller battery.
DISAPPOINTED.
I have the note 3 for awhile now and I was looking forward to the note 5 but if the non removable battery was bad, no sd card slot finished it off, if it is so I won't be buying the note 5, huge disappointment

Note series stays at 5.7" while S series stays at 5". It absurd keep increasing the size. 16:10 aspect ratio? There is no such ratio. 16:9 and 20:9(cinematic) is the only ratio available these days due to video content. 4:3 ratio only in tablet and computer.

Front speakers? Nice but makes devices massive.
Are you serious Samsung?? Is that a design? I think non removable battery is the biggest issue of the phone. It will be a disaster when you want to repair a phone they should give the consumer a replace warranty if there was any issue
I love note series and I'm going to buy one.
No removable battery? OK, I let you have this one..
But no SD support? Low battery capacity? I'll go for an old note 4 instead...
Or maybe I ditch the whole note capabilities and go for another brand...
Samsung, if it is true, then shame on you...

I can carry my Note 3 during those days when I do not need a bag, and the only extra thing besides my wallet is a spare battery for heavy use. No need to carry a charger and be a wall hugger, and no need for the lumpy or useless smaller power bank.
Note 6 Suggestions
1.) Front Facing SPEAKERS
-Stop copying iPhone's design. The only thing good about the iPhone is its logo. Samsung should try to beat Apple at the Front Facing Speaker design.
-I have a Note 3 since april 2014. And immediate i knew i wanted to upgrade to the Note 4. But when i saw that it has a backward facing speaker, i got very annoyed. So i didn't buy one. I'm holding on to my Note 3 while i wait for the Note 5. For me, Front Facing SPEAKERS should be the standard for all phones and tablets. I can't emphasise enough how stupid backward-facing speakers are. Even the side-firing speaker on my Note 3 is bad. I keep blocking the speaker in landscape mode.
-One Front facing Speaker will be a big improvement. But Dual or Stereo Front Speakers will be great.
2.) Capacitive-Touch Home Botton
- The One Plus 2's home button is perfect. I hate the pressable physical home button on my Note 3. I don't wanna keep pushing or pressing a button everytime i wanna go to the home screen. I just wanna touch or tap the home button. And i hate the on-screen buttons, by the way. Samsung should never do that on their phones.
-Another idea is put the Finger Print Sensor at the back like the Huawei Ascend Mate 7. It very works very well. Or put the Finger Print Sensor right at the Power On/Off button, like one chinese phone manufacturer are planning to implement.
3.) 6.5 Inch Display with 16:10 Aspect Ratio.
- I like the galaxy Mega 6.3 screen size. Big screen but still fits in my pocket comfortably. But the rest of the specs are disappointing. The Note 3 and 4's 5.7 inch screen size is still phone size. With 6.5 inch display, the Note 5 will be a real Phablet (Phone/Tablet).
- I want a Note phone the same size as the Huawei MediaPad X2. It has a 7 inch 16:10 aspect ratio display which is the size of a real notebook. 16:9 aspect ratio makes a phone look very long. But 6.5 inch is better because it will be pocket friendly.
- Samsung should make the Note 5 as big as possible one-Handed use is already impossible since the Note 2's 5.5" display.
-QHD or 1440p screen resolution is enough.
-Sapphire protection for the display would be great.
4.) Full DeskTop Mode Android for when i connect my phone to a TV via HDMI. Just like Windows 10 Continuum on phone and Ubuntu Convergence.
5.) ip68 Water & Dust Proof
-Samsung's Galaxy "Active" phone versions are ugly. Water and dust protection should be built-in on the samsung flagship phones.
-If the Note 5 is ip68 and still has a removable back cover, it will be great.
6.) USB Type C Port
-Faster Charging and faster wired data transfer.
7.) Dual SIM
Don't make the micro sd card and second sim swapable. I wan't to use a second sim and micro sc card both at the same time.
8.) Faux Leather Back Cover
- I like the lether look and rubbery feel of it. It provides better grip and prevents the phone being very slippery. It Shouldn't be real leather because real leather will absorb sweat everyday. It will smell very bad in just after a month. (based on my past experince with wrist watch leather straps)
- It doesn't matter if the back cover is removable or not.
- Don't make the back cover glass or metal. It's not very Note-like.
Jesus...
And here I thought the first leak was bad enough.
it looks even bleakbleaker now.
This is not a tool it's a toy just for pleasing your eyes.

I have a Note 4 and carry 2 spare batteries when on the go, no need to carry another brick in my pant pocket, seriously, who's bright idea was it to remove this feature from the Note 5, seems to me that is one of the main reason the S6 has suffered in sales "and no micro SD card expansion support" , but I believe the Note 5 was already pretty much done with the production process, so Samsung could not change this last minute, they know they will have another bad sales report on their hands after this Note 5 release, I hope they will learn from their mistakes. No one cares about a super slim mini computer in your pocket that does not last you all day, not everyone is around a charging station, and power banks are just as big if not bigger than the actual phone.
looks like a full out copy of the iphone.. such a shame

Gorgeous looking phone. It's such a shame that in a larger device that students will go for, they don't have an SD card slot. The non-replaceable battery won't be an issue if it's as good as recent devices and you, like me, take a mobile power bank on long journeys.
