Samsung is going for looks and quality and sensors. Sadly note will sell well because it got no pen flagship alternative. 3000 is quite ok with samsung processor, so is 128gb mem(not considering price of course)... So most problematic ll be camera tha wont be second coming of 808. and thats is bad...

why is it difficult for samsung to understand that the customers out there want slots and removable battery? they'd better cut down specs and included these attracts rather than siphoning in more specs while the note 4 was already impressive

Man these devices look gorgeous day on day.. You've gotta give it to Samsung for making sexy looking devices this time around. I don't care about things too much.. the phone has to kick btw the C ports of Apple..

For the first time, I'm not too excited with the Note's design. They need to do something very different and to do that, they must think out of the box. I'd rather purchase Note 4 once it's price drop a bit further.

Samsung will realize that giving up what made its' phones stand out will cost them very dear.
I have owned both note2 and note3 (which by the way is the best phone I ever had even better than the the s2) and I think that replaceable battery is a must for a professional device such as the note. What I see is me turning to any other brand that respects it's costumers,probably Sony or Lg.Sony has no lag and updates it's phones regularly and LG will offer replaceable batteries in the g note series

Eish!! People have you seen the other side of the phone? Why do you think nobody is showing the SIM tray side? Did you test the 3000mah to see how long it last? No and No and a couple more No.
Relax and wait just a week to see the phone then complain and piss on Samsung then.. not now. Also Samsung and other OEM don't have a gun on your head to buy their phones...you decide on your own. Someone might tell you that one or this one is better but ultimately you decide which one you buy.
I think some of you guys...again some of you can't even afford these high end phones that's why its easy to moan hourly about missing this and that. Do your current phones have better performance/usability/features than the Note 5? Stick to it then.
If you have a better phone then show us. I have a LG G4 from Note 4. Didn't buy S6 or M9.

I surely didn't buy a 64gb mem card and packed over 50 gigs of my stuff on it just to buy a smartphone without an SD slot. So, i might get the Note 4 after all.

[deleted post]When S6 came with this kind of design having no SD card and removable battery, i went and bought a much more expensive note edge as my last device. Now i dont need any mobile device now as i own note 3, note edge. But keep in mind 1 thing,may be i am wrong but today's market almost 98% of all smartphones are now closed batteries and having limited memory options like use SD card in place of 2nd sims tray. I dont think samsung will ever launch those old golden models again. Samsung's last legend will always be the note 3 note 4 note edge.

I never got a faulty piece of electronics so I can't comment. Yes I have read of issues with the phone but I haven't faced any yet. And when million pieces are out there, few may be faulty.

If it's soooo efficient, then every everything should have solar power technology. Unless you have at least a square meter of solar panels, you'd have to really wait for to fully charged power bank. It'd take days. Direct heat will wear it out in the long run. Heat is the number one event of batteries. I charge mine at home, and my Xiaomi 16000mAh power bank needs 8 to 9 hours to charge with a 2.1A charger.
You don't seem to understand. Deterioration of fixed or sealed battery is even faster with fast charging. Do you understand this concept? By 6 months, and not just 1 or 2 years, you'll have a battery that only holds 70 to 80% of its original power hold.
I like to call it changeable, because it's "user replaceable battery". Note 3 or 4 have "changeable" battery system. I can even "change" it to a Zerolemon 10,000mAh extended battery. It means the same thing, if you couldn't comprehend that.
Good for you- you can afford your social status with a new device yearly. Even beyond 2 years, devices still can work priestly, unless it's an iOS device that was updated with the latest update. I usually pass down the device to family members, or become a secondary device as a hotspot or mobile storage.

For me the only reason i wanted to go for the note 5 was the really good screen and the battery. If that is all they are going to give when it comes to the battery I think its time I start looking at another brand. All that said I will wait till the 13th to see what is really coming our way.

With a non-removable battery you will expand your phones life ! You don#t need any acces to your phones interior, the phone should be closed, because you can destroy a lot of things while changing the battery and the SD card
I am using a 27'' iMac and a Note 4 and I love both !

silly Samsung, Note4 users are likely power/bus users compared with s6 i general.
Hence removable battery is a must for me, I am sure as hell not going to carry a stupid bulky powerbank to charge when I can carry a quick full 100% charged spare battery replacement in my Note4, plus when the battery inside Note5 or s6 dies eventually they all do slowly with lower capacity charges..... you need to send it to service centre with all your personal information, so no thanks Samsung, you screw up big time!
I owned all previous 4 notes but now skipping Note5 for sure :(

OK, I could live without SD card, aspecialy when the rumor was thats theres going to be +4000mAh battery but Only 3000mAh battery, thats gigantic let down for me.
I'm not going to buy samsung version of iphone with stylus this time.
