I am or I guess use to be a proud to say samsung family I buy all there products due to the convenience like mirror screening from my note 4 to my 60 inch samsung smart tv. I have the note 10.1 2014 an love the expandable memory I have 128gb in both my phone an tablet the 128gb plus the 32gb the phone comes with has been wonderful an the batter life on my note 4 has been the best now there taking away from the consumers that made them become the consumers because of the options an convenience it's sad to see samsung try so hard to be apple I hate the iPhone because of the restrictions now samsung is doing jus that. So I guess I'll be sticking to my note 4. An won't be buying any future samsung products for the let down.

shame it ain't no big leap from my N3
the N4 didn't float my boat so I thought I'd wait for the N5
looks like I'll wait for the N6 or N7 as the Note 3 is soon good

Actually, the Mali GPU is the GPU pendant to the arm cortex cores, Samsung uses the standard configuration and because they have a very good manufacturing process, they get very good chips with it. Apple uses custom cores and power vr gpus that are also available for all companys but as far as I know more expensive. The arm standard design is the cheapest way to build a chip (that's why the small Chinese companies feature standard cortex cores and Mali GPUs). Qualcomm in contrast have this own GPUs and normally also CPUs. The 64 bit snapdragon chips have the standard arm design but with a worse manufacturing process they fucked up. Let's see what the 820 can do with custom cores.
To the note 5, I think it was a good idea to build the s6 like it is, they have software problems and the battery could really last longer but all in all its a good device and for the people that wants phones like the iPhone or the galaxy the s6 is just right. But the note is made for a different use and it is for sure a bad idea to cut two of the main advantages of the note series, the battery life and the SD slot. This cannot be a good idea...

I fail to understand the fuss about MicroSD card !! Is it that useful? Last MicroSD I had was on my Nokia N93.After that I used Nokia N8,Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3,Galaxy S5 and now Galaxy S6 Edge. Never once felt the need of one.Agreed we have started using our phones more, movie file size has increased with BluRay, image file size has increased. But haven't we got more options of Cloud storage which is much better, easier, faster and future proof ? U have Google Drive, 100 GB free on Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox etc. Get a good WiFi or 4G and try those rather than being stubborn to be neanderthals !! And apart from these who doesn't have laptops/PC these days with 300+ GB of storage? If Samsung is giving lag free software in a good looking body subtracting MicroSD card, is that so much to crib ? Samsung had enough of being Ugly Betty, let it shine.

Interesting to see all these comments. Well I am sticking to my Note 3 because it has all i need. Samsung is trying to be an iphone, without realising that iphone is in its own ecosystem altogether with its exclusive OS. I wonder what will become of Samsung if Apple outs an Iphone 6s with expandable memory...
