And something like 85% of medical devices are also running that operating system. The modern world simply wouldn't function without QNX. Which is owned by BlackBerry.
BlackBerry isn't going anywhere. Good stock to own.

I seriously can't believe that people who hate Blackberry bother to post. If it's so dead, so useless, so what ever come to mind, why don't you just ignore it and stop bothering and upsetting yourself with it. The devices are good and so is the OS if you troubled yourself to learn how it works you may back off a bit. If you don't like Blackberry, so what? I don't like Toyota Prius's and I can't be bothered posting that on a Toyota website. Give it a rest.

Apple and Samsung are really losing their edge (pun not intended), and the latter's budget line are surpassing their premium quota.

BlackBerry is innovating on several fronts and current device offerings complements a strategy that will ensure BlackBerry will rise again.
Many moons ago, people said Apple being dead and wondering why there were still people buying from them. Not saying BBRY will become the next Apple but without a firm understanding about what BBRY is doing at a whole , judgments about their future will fall very short.

I have had several BlackBerry devices including the passport. It's nice but this new version with old specs just doesn't justify excite consumers; taking a stroll with an old dog.
