Microsoft stylus is merely a simple stylus. S pen is build with high technology. Someone really should de-assembled the S pen and look at the inside built. Make a youtube video about it or something.

I have one and it works as good as the ones on wacom. Wacom designed the stylus for samsung the stylus is very good. The only weakness it has is you the user. In your case u probably havent used a samsung stylus before

Anonymous, 07 Aug 2015I'm pretty sure the pen in Wacom's graphic tablets and ms surface pro 3 pens are more advanced... moreActually no, Note pens use Wacom tech, which IMO is still far superior in feel and hover distance to the NTrig system used in Surface Pro 3. Also the Wacom active digitizer is more sophisticated and expensive + requires and additional sensor layer under the screen.
In Note 4 I don't really notice any significant lag while writing.
I should know what I'm speaking about, as I own SP3, Note 4 & 2. The writing feel is best in Note 4, by far, followed by Note 2. SP3 surely is a fantastic product overall - I really love it, but the pen tech is inferior (SP 1 & 2 used the Wacom tech also).

S-Pen "the most advanced" buahahahahahaha.... I'm not sure on which planet Samsung lives...... Or they simply dont know other graphic pens or even Microsoft Surface 3 Pen... S-Pen next to those pens looks like a wax crayon!!!

this is utter bullshit.
I've used the pen on the Surface Pro 3 and the ones that ship with the Note. The input latency on Samsung styluses is horrendous. Ain't nobody beating the Surface in pen input anytime soon.

I love the Montblanc fountain pen. It look so beautiful itself with carved pattern on the tip of the pen. I wish S pen can have the same carving pattern on the pen. It made from metal anyway.

AnonD-93439, 07 Aug 2015It remained the same thing for the last 3yrs!Since Note 3 the tip of the S Pen has a rubber finish. But mostly advanced the sensor. First Note could read 128 pressure levels, Note 4 can read 2048. This might be not really noticeable in real life, but it's an improvement.

There could be below 5" display flagships, close to 5", 5.7" phablets, 7" and 10" tablets. All can have premium hardware, meaning they are flagships in their class.
