Extremely expensive, locked bootloaders at every corner, constant discontinues, and some of the most sluggish updates........
Yet everyone has to put up with it for the reliable service.....I hate them.

Discontinues after 10months. Amazing Sony. No one will buy Sony anymore. Z4v will be discontinues soon enough to make way for Z5v.

big_gamer, 10 Aug 2015i am on verizon and i was going to get this phone like tomorrow, what should i do now? buy one... moreI would most definitely wait for the z4v. I currently have the z3v and have already had to replace the port cover for the charging port, and I used it as least as possible; qi car charge, qi backup power bank, and qi wall charger. it loses its waterproof capabilities without this cap. The cap is VERY fragile. The z4v has completely done away with it, waterproofing the whole port. Unless you plan on carrying a qi charger around while traveling and charging when necessary, I suggest waiting.

It would be worth noting - in ALL CAPS - that Verizon promised but NEVER delivered VoLTE for the Z3v. Verizon also promised it would be updated to Lollipop, but that hasn't happened. The Z3v also has a nasty Bluetooth bug where hands free "dial recent" will randomly dial someone from your address book, not the recent caller you selected from menus.
So however the Z4V ships, DO NOT expect VZW to make good on ANY promises of updates or bug fixes.

The Z4v has a QHD display, which the Z3+ and Z4 lack.
