Anonymous, 10 Aug 2015Call quality is really bad on the larger Alcatel Idol 3. Hope they fixed it on this one.I have the 5.5" Idol 3 and call quality is quite normal - not as clear as my old Motorola XT860/droid 3, but more than serviceable, and I have had no problem hearing others or being heard. It's just not what I'd call "crystal clear" - but it's definitely not "bad" by any stretch. It works.

regs, 10 Aug 2015All good for its price except storage. 8GB is quite a little considering Android 5 reserves 4G... moreI can't talk about the US version, but the Canadian release on AOT's website is actually the one with 1.5GB of RAM and 16gb of internal storage, while remaining single-SIM and having SD card support (to 32GB).

All good for its price except storage. 8GB is quite a little considering Android 5 reserves 4GB for its needs. So there is just 4GB for apps, data, cache etc. Modern apps are big. Same problem on LG G3s. Installed few apps and can't even update them, because no free space error.
