Here is official statement from Xiaomi:
We just announced MIUI 7 China Version on Aug. 13 in Beijng, with a bunch of new features. MIUI 7 (5.8.13) starts rolling out for Mi 2, Mi 2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, Redmi 1, Redmi 1S, Redmi 2/Prime, Redmi 2A, Redmi Note 3G and Redmi Note 4G in China today. MIUI 7 is ultra-fast, power efficient, and completely designed for you.
We will be officially announcing MIUI 7 Global Version in India on August 19, which is when we'll get an extended look at the new features specifically for global MIUI fans!

Ever since I upgraded my Mi3 to 6.6.0, phone has become unusable with so many bugs. It has become a paper-weight after 10 months of purchase. Hopefully MIUI 7 will make it usable. Fingers crossed?

I updated my MI4 today with latest MIUI update (5.8.13 BETA) with all the features as listed above including those new themes & people tab in gallery. However the android version is still shown as 4.4.4 instead of 5.1
Confused due to this. Is latest CHINA DEV ROM based on MIUI7 or MIUI6??

performance is good small phone are using lolipop rom but still now we r not getting miui 7 lolipop rom we r expecting today pls update but today iam really to buy this phone super phone
