MIUI 7 will launch in India as well guys.. Maybe you didn't read it carefully. The talked about the devices in China, whereas Mi4i is available in India only. So the cant mention about mi4i in China Launch obviously cause that would be confusing. They didn't mention anything much about the Indian launch except the date August 19.

Obviously the Sony phone has a better camera, build quality, front camera, screen quality, loud speaker, IP certification, SD Card Slot, Active Noise cancellation, battery life, more ram, but stripping it down to bare specs the Redmi Note 2 would perform just as well as the M5.
The Redmi Note 2 has a bigger screen, AC wireless and quickcharging that the M5 doesn't have though
