Read again!!!!! Android is a simple OS yet need nearly the same sort of hardware specs as Win 10 to run simple apps like Facebook smoothly!!!! Simple OS like Android should run without a glitch, buttery smooth on 1GB of Ram!!!!!

people has money to waste to just show off, its all bout standard.apple is always cheating while its competitor reached to 4 gb ram and 4000mh battery, apple is still offering 1 gb ram and 1800mh battery,please apple give me valid reason to buy your product,

However with android it isn't optimized as well as there is a range of devices and then a company ui on top (such as touchwiz) so it relies on the system memory more. Much yeah I don't get why people still buy Apple other than the brand - iSheeps

It is about how the background apps, multitasking and so on works. Iphone will halt those background apps, but android run all at the same time. I am not here to say which on uts better but each of them got their own benefit. Ipad is soon able to run multitasking like android with dual windows, so ipad nowadays need 2 gb to survive.

The real question is how can an IPhone run every single mobile app out there without any problem and with only 1 GB of ram. Why android OS apps need every year more Ram ...i don't get it.... is it something with memory management? How can ios run all the apps smoothly ......even a windows phone can run all the apps with 1 GB.

Get back in the real world pal! with 1gb ram windows 10 would run smoothly for all of about 5 minutes, the recommended spec for windows 10 in terms of ram is 4gb

What is it you do with your phone? And I don't get why people keep talking about Tabs reloading, mine don't.
Of course the SITE reloads, but I'd say that's intentional in case the information has been updated.

Apps are getting more recourse intensive as their functionality and the services they provide mature and become more complex, go forward a year and 2gb will start to look like a liability, more so on Android than IOS granted, but IOS is not immune to the trend.

They love seeing safari/chrome tabs getting reloaded.At the iPhonea price tag and the amount of money apple earns each year, you really cannot ask for an additional gb of ram that has exactly 0 disadvantages and about 100 advantages. Apple wouldn't be able to keep its aggressive pricing

it's fake not because of 1gb ram but because of chip clock speed apple never goes that much far at clock speed . it will be 1.5 not 2.0 and ip6s really needs 2 gb of ram for split screen if it came to ip6s
