Moto X Style will be more popular than both these Samsung phones,as it will be more affordable and does offer the micro sd card slot,Metal & Glass might look good but its really made Samsung phones too Expensive for a lot of people

If you need to secure your external SD card there is an option to encrypt it. USE IT!

I don't hate Samsung.
When the smartphones came out I bought a couple of iPhone and they were great. Having a little PC with me all day changed my life. Alas, they were small and bossy.
Then the Note came out and I switched immediately (Note 1,2,3). So good!
I didn't see much point in upgrading to the Note 4 so I passed.
This year I expected a bigger battery (4000 or more) and a slightly bigger screen with less bezel. Nothing could have prepared me for this debacle. They've treated us like idiots ready to believe anything they say.
On top of all this, living in Europe I'm not good enough to buy it. Basically they are behaving like pirates in for a quick buck and abandoning their customers as soon as they see fit. It's not serious. This year it's Europe, next year?
I hope I will never give my money to such a company.
There are alternatives coming out: LG PRO 3, Huawei Mate 8
So long Samsung, I thank you for the ride. Time to move on

Why the hell would I buy a $699+ phone that doesn't even have the screen resolution to play full HD videos. Wtf of course the battery life's good when you don't even have enough pixels to watch a full HD video. For God's sake My old Dell inspiron laptop has slightly more pixels 768p to be exact.

Self claimed geek/... moreSaying "I'm writing this from Samsung Development Office" won't really overshadow the successes of Samsung and other Android companies so far. However in light of Note 4 and the latest Note 5 I would say the phablet standard of Samsung is degenerating. You can't even properly call Note 5 an upgrade to Note 4 though it's true that Note 5 has become rather battery friendly. When it comes to iPhones though especially iPhone 6, I don't see the point of buying another one for my sister when her previous falls from shoulder height and gets a big crack on the screen not to mention the WiFi later suffers connection problems upto this day. On the other hand I bought Note 3 in June 2013 and it has fallen facedown 5 times. My younger brother has the same phone and he has used it harshly enough for 2 of the 4 round corners to become edges. Even after such inflictions both of us are still using our phones for learning, gaming and whatnot (courtesy of Play Store). User experience matters more than saying "Hell I'm writing from Sammy's lap". Unfortunately I fear the Note 5 with compromise of durability for good looks (in bitten Apple footsteps) may probably suffer the same fate as my sister's iPhone or more specifically diePhone (phone with imminent death).

I don't see any gimmick anymore either. So, Samsung cut their gimmick and refresh the Note series with a touch of 'normal' smartphone. The only innovation they put is the curved glass. I supposed they plan to go all out with ultra high spec smartphone next year after downgrading this year. That will cause a drastic differences in spec and that probably what they aiming for. Downgrade now and super upgrade next year.

and yeah, i can live without replaceable batt, but internal memory only, hmm, not cool,
especially knowing that Samsung produce great SD Card, hardisks, etc, at least give options 64G and 128G, and you can beat Apple. Mmm, silly Samsung..

sh*t phones from sh*t company - I guess will loose half price after 2 week. Self claimed geek/power user will buy these sh*ts and probably change ROM week after week. Won't be satisfied with any one , even with the stock one. Will show homescreens in websites and publish benchmark in forum. Then to prove they are satisfied they will make comments like - oh iPhone - its nothing to Samsung's sh*t phone. They will talk about RAM, cores - but the truth is even phone's home screen wont be smooth. And the fact is If it's not an iPhone , it's not an iPhone. Simple, elegant, useful, excellent capable camera, optimized OS, steady performance 2/3 years.
Hell .. i am writing this from Samsung's development office. My primary phone is iPhone & xperia z2.

No one really needs a removable battery,my whole family use high end phones before the launch of iphones and galaxies and never had to keep a spare battery to replace it, if you're getting problem in battery you can get it replaced anytime. I don't think someone still keeps a phone with extra battery, you have those power banks, car charger for travel purposes. SD card makes the phone slow and insecure, what's the use of having a phone with fingerprint sensor when anyone can just swipe out your memory card and get access to all your pics, videos and data stored in it. As I said people criticizing about these things never been into high end phones. Trust me you'll be able to afford it you won't think about any other phone

The big things that left out in note 5 were the IR blaster and most importantly the upgration of camera , same camera (IMX 240) was used in note4 and same (IMX 240) was used in s6 ( may be stability or somethinig of camera was improved as quality was much better) and now same sensor(iMX 240 ) is used

come on, it take times to innovate thing, nothing that happen in just 6month or 1 year, not gonna happen, IF* you get new best thing in short time, don't complain that that thing get faulty quickly as they don't have time to test out. a good thing need time, money, and supporter to continue on, if thing upgrade over speed, look whats SD810 happen to them.
quality mean stable and reliable. not something that hope to fly, im snapdragon fans, i look good seen SD400 untill SD805, look down exynos chip seen s3(i own one) until Note 4 but end up i buy S6.

Do you think any phone manufacturer will let its Pr team , sit on their backsides whilst the biggest phone manufacturer releases its flagships, no, its all hands on deck.
The only way to handle samsung, is to destroy its public image , and on every thread, everywhere, that's just what's happening. Android land quivers, check out sales for the other individuals against samsung, ....htc , sony, etc etc.
Apple only get to mug the iphone on to people, because they believe its the best , even, when it isn't, then samsung come along, and they become the biggest smartphone manufacturer, of course, that throws a spanner in the works of top dog perception, can't have that now , can we.
Well, can't out manufacturer them, can we, cant out innovate, can we, can't out advertise them,.. I know what if we just...
One thing apple , and all android (read sony, lg , htc, all china .) and nokia/ microsoft, can all agree on, is they have one common rival, so , fill every thread , full of seemingly, disgruntled pretend samsung fans. Choke the entire media with the same chaff, and you leave, potential buyers, doing their research on the internet, before buying their next phone, with one message..nobody likes samsung they're not cool, which of course is not true.
Truth is, there is no formula for samsung to stop these lies. I would prefer sd and rem battery, but if they kept the old back= samsung plastic rubbish
If they kept the full software=bloat
If they take software out=no reason to buy in preference to any other android
Take out plastic back=prefer old phone with sd etc.
They try to kill every new samsug flagship by poisoning the public.
Yet when the next model comes out, its full of how great the last one was .. I'M NOT UPGRADING, and I'VE HAD 10 ZILLION SAMSUNG , BUT THIS IS MY LAST, etc
Maybe there's a clue , how is it apple have had, plastic , massive bezels, tiny screen to phone ratio, glass shattering screens, no sd no removable battery's, pink spotting cameras, bent phones, software glitches galore, hacks, new phones scratched in their boxes , with the knowledge of the manufacturer, light bleed, you could go on, and yet, the media still uphold willingly for them, a blanket , unified , portrayal of , quality , dignity , and honor, before the public gaze.
We get a further clue when the story broke on this site , about the german web site, who broke rank and were, reprimanded by apple for portraying their phone in a true negative light.
No, change brings disappointment to some, but hatred , mockery , insults, and loss of brand loyalty over an sd card and the battery, no , buyers will leave that level of hypocrisy, to the rival Pr teams.
