The iphone still has the better and smoother interface. But yes, the Nexus wallpapers are cool. Iphone has voice commands as well, has google earth, and a lot more apps than Nexus. So the iphone is far from an old thing. No one should believe you.
go back and double read what i say mister know it all.
Nexus vs. N900 to go pick up a chick. lol. Seriously N900(u too fat) u staying at the bar, Nexus going to the hotel.
Dr Pervaiz, 07 Jan 2010Is it compatible with microsoft word?If any one can tell me.You'll be able to use DataViz's software for Android on this phone.

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2010You are lying, a jailbroken iphone will be bricked as soon as you hook it up to itunes for upd... moreSorry but don't call me a liar.
The phone has been replaced due to issues with the proximity sensor and speakers so nothing to do with Jailbreaking.
And it won't brick when you connect to iTunes it will update just like any other iPhone, yes it will need re-breaking but it won't brick.
I suggest you go way and do a bit of checking on the intanet before making such stupid, unfounded claims to look like you know what your talking about.
Jailbreaking makes no difference what so ever to how the phone updates. Never had one brick in the 2 years I've been JBing it.
Still think it's an old phone now and the fanboys need to remove their heads and wake up to what the competition is doing.
N900 being ordered today.....yay!!!!

YES. you would feel that iphone is an OLD THING.
Believe me I've seen it!
SR, 07 Jan 2010I agree with you that iPhone is boring. The same old miles and miles of application list. Its ... moreFirst of all, you already sound dumb in saying that the iphone is so in the 80's. Cell phones gained mass popularity only in the late 90's. And they came in black and white displays.
You make a big deal of wallpapers? LOL. You're probably a little kid. But hey, I am not saying that changing wallpapers is not fun. Matter of fact, it would be nice if I can change themes on my iphone, but seriously, to make it a big deal is just dumb. Iphone has more to offer than customizing ringtones and wallpapers, lol.
You said that the iphone 3gs has nothing new and is the same as the first one, is another sign of ignorance on your part. Iphone 3gs has a better camera, faster processor, bigger ram, can video record, bigger internal memory, has 3g, the first one only had edge, has an oleophobic coating, etc... Don't make comments on things that you do not know about. Go ahead and support whatever phone you like, but stop making a fool of yourself by posting nonsense.

Also, when your smartphone can have dual core processors. Also, if you can type as fast as I can on my laptop. Also, if your smartphone can have hot keys f1, f2, f3, f4...... Also if your smartphone can display images and videos 17" big. Dream on mister. You probably could not afford a proper computer, so you can only wish that your smartphone can do everything that a desktop computer can, lol. How many USB ports does your smartphone have? Wanna compare speeds and memory capacity? LOL. Don't be dense. The modern smartphone does show a lot of promise, but to say that it will replace desktop computers and laptops, is ludicrous. Again, it's like saying TV sets will replace movie theaters. Get a brain. The one that works :)
noro, 07 Jan 2010For the one and others that sayd "multitasking it is not that thing that makes a phone a ... moreI agree with you that iPhone is boring. The same old miles and miles of application list. Its so 1980. Android on the other hand has a logical layout of apps. And plus you change just the wallpaper and the phone is like new.
iPhone is ancient. Nothing new since the first one. People are bound to get bored.
These Apple fanboys are absolutely blinded by it and can't see the development around them. Wake up! Smell the coffee.
Smartphones will replace my desktop because all i need is a powerful snapdragon smartphone(nexus)and a laptop for my job. Good bye desktop.
Chris , 07 Jan 2010What? We'll that would be your info and that is usefull - if it is truth in facts. How about s... moreThe Nexus has 512MB ROM but a lot of it is taken up by the OS and Google's native applications, there is 190MB left over for third party applications.
The iPhone can use almost it's entire memory for Apps, it is NAND flash memory which is a lot faster to access than memory cards, so even when Google allows installation of applications on the memory card they still won't work as well because of the access time.
190 MB for application LOL.My N900 have 2 GB for applications.
noro, 07 Jan 2010For the one and others that sayd "multitasking it is not that thing that makes a phone a ... moreWell first of all, I don't think that smartphones will ever replace desktop computers. It's like saying tv sets will eliminate movie theaters. As smartphone evolves into powerful devices, so will desktop computers and laptops. The iphone has one of the best, if not the best mobile software/OS out there. How can that be boring? If you do not like the iphone, that's alright, but don't make silly comments about it. And how can the htc hero feel like new everytime you use it? Does it change OS every hour? Lol. The iphone has so many apps to keep you amused, so please stop the nonsense. You said you have more data on your phone than your laptop? Here's why I say you're lying. First of all, a smart person would always back up data from his phone to his laptop, so with that said, your laptop and your phone would already have equal data, lol. You want to do multiple things at the same time on your phone? Like what? Watch a movie, while playing a game, while browsing? Can your htc hero's screen be split into four like PIP feature on tv? Lol. Before you call anyone dumb, you may want evaluate yourself first because you seem pretty dumb, lol.
haajahjhaj u guys figthing on witch one is better!
the answer is nokia N900!!
Short and Sweet!
rafe htc hero, 07 Jan 2010Nexus has a paltry 190 megabytes allotted for storage of apps. It comes with a 4-gigabyte memo... moreWhat? We'll that would be your info and that is usefull - if it is truth in facts. How about sheedding some light here? Further explanation, references coz i am corry but i disagree with a 190 MB for Apps storage.
Awhile ago while i'm looking over GSMarena's Nexus spec's sheet I've un-earthed a few infos regarding Nexus. Well, we cant deny the fact that this mobile has something to boast itself off(Nexus). I'll start with the Internal Memory, promising 512 RAM and 512 ROM, while iPhone ended up un-equipped.
External Memory for Nexus is also limited up to 32 Gigabyte while iPhone is offering 16 Gigabyte, and its a shared memory. For a fact, the bigger Memory, the better. And, the faster processor, the less the bad Mobile Experience.
Nexus has a paltry 190 megabytes allotted for storage of apps. It comes with a 4-gigabyte memory card expandable to 32, but it won't store apps. Google says a software update will address that in the future. The least-expensive iPhone has 8 GB, most of which can be used for apps.
Comments on this are welcome...

For the one and others that sayd "multitasking it is not that thing that makes a phone a smartphone" well my friend now with the technology we have i want a phone to replace my descktop computer,to be smal, compact and to do pretty much all descktop computers basics.I had iphone..good phone..great quality but booooooooooring software!! jailbreaked it..themed it..modified myself in thousands ways..still boooring!i have htc hero..i love it..each time i look at it i feel like i see it for the first time!.For me ofcourse i want to have multi tasking cause i have more datas in my phone than in my laptop,i want to do multiple things at once not just quit and replay.Iphone is a phone for dumb eighter ignorand or ppl that want a kinky phone but not too complicated to use and i think with that i have sayd everything.
