Well, if you guys are so picky and specific about a humped back, please go ahead and design one for yourselves. Save yourselves the cribbing and wailing and us the test for patience to take s*** .
Judging by the photo, the design is not that good, at least from my point of view, really disappointing, I hate the shape and position of the flash, it would be more stylish to make it circular while placing it bellow the camera.
Certainly looking forward to this. Most likely will buy this brand new as I rarely ever buy brand new but the Nexus 5 was one of my best purchases ever. Looks good in the picture just shame its few months off yet.
I like the appearance. The Lumia phones as designed by Nokia are some of the best designs, I think, so I don't find the comparison to be a problem.
I am disappointed that LG is making this phone though, because I assume that means it will use Qualcomm's crappy Fluence noise cancellation, as they always do. I would have liked to see another Motorola Nexus phone, with their much superior CrystalTalk and four microphone noise cancellation. The main reason I want to dump my Nexus 4 is because of the Fluence noise cancellation and the Nexus 5 was even worse. If only the Nexus 6 had not be a gigantic phablet to crush all phablets.
So, who else thinks it looks like a Microsoft Lumia 640 XL more than anything else?
You've been given one job LG... ONE Freakib Job! Make an upgraded Nexus 5... And you madea freakin Nokia! Wtf LG?!
lg makes good hardware but bad software stock android is the best hence lg hardware and stock android is like a match made in heaven looking forward to the launch.
I have an LG G4 and I love it. I'd buy this Nexus in a heartbeat.
My only disappointment is that there are no back buttons. LG has made us sooo used to their convenience it's hard to imagine an LG phone without it.
there is one thing that im going to say after reading almost all comments..if u dount like it..dont buy it....dont talk things about it.. for then play with it and ppost this is the best ever made device...
tom, 17 Aug 2015looks cheap if im honest almost a step down from the nexus 6, Why doesn't google use a vendor ... moreAre you kidding, mate?? Please get your data correct before posting against LG for design. I have a Nexus 4 that completes 2yrs tomorrow, the UI is smooth and way better than Samsung flagships (S3, S4 & S5). I found S6 and Edge to be a great design for 2015. I have hardly had 3 complaints over 2yrs but were fixed after I restarted my phone. LG doesn't make buggy phones and Nexus 4 until the release of Nexus 5 had a good design, Nexus 5 dimensions and design for 2013-14 was just perfect. I was waiting for the next Nexus device from LG and can't wait to get my hands on it.
It appears to be that the LG version of the Nexus will have a much bigger camera and at least it has a better placement (no fingers in the way) than the Huawei one. Since I don't care too much about gaming, I might let the better camera make the deciding factor for which phone I will get.
Damn I wish I could fast forward to October. No.. I'm kidding, I like summer too much.
camera hump looks exactly like lumia 925, remember the circle colors get off really quick. and all the pressure is on the camera, might not scratch easily but still.
Why do you ppl bother commenting here if you either hate Lg or the looks of the new Nexus? Phone looks cool, it will be tough for me to decide which phone should i buy at the end of the year. G4 pro, z5 or it might be this one. Till this Lollipop all Lg devices on Kitkat 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 worked perfectly well. And if people cant sed that there is plenty or majority of ppl who prefers 5.2+ sizes..then you cant help anyone actually. Just stick to those 5.0 inch screens where you cant watch a film cuz of the size.
