I use it and I find this addition useful since I used to visit my Gmail and text from there on PC.

Big Daddy, 18 Aug 2015Seems To be awesome but do people really need this ? I mean do people use hangouts ?I am trying Google Hangouts now and I must say "why the rush"? Its so buggy that I can't actually use conversations.

Some people use it exclusively since they use only Gmail. I don't know if this would be good for them but it's certainly a welcome addition.
