FireDragon, 07 Jan 2010I believe it is not made to compete against HD2. Of course it is not. It is made to compete n97 mini and similar. I have HD2 now, that phone is just brilliant, complete set of all in 1, that is why I mentioned it.

Meet the new device from XPERIA™ series. Robyn – a compact touch phone based on Android OS which looks like a mini version of XPERIA™ X10. The device has 2.6″ touchscreen display, 5.0 megapixel camera, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port and Wi-Fi™. The phone will be available in many colours. Unfortunately we don’t have other specifications yet. Sony Ericsson announces the new Robyn on February 14th 2010 at the MWC event.

X10 is superb, but this Robyn sounds like it pop'd out of some fags ass, seriously, this miniature is so gay, that sucks. Specs are super low, at least it's not kak colored n97 mini. HD2 rulz.

Looks very nice - I believe it is one of the Marat Fidarov-designed phones. In the sea of phones it will definitely stand out. If Robin has wi-fi, microSD slot and a somewhat decent camera, it will sell like hot cakes, unless it takes SE forever to get it ready for retail - like with the X10. The Xperia will launch in Canada in Q2 (could be as late as June!), and no official word on the U.S. situation.
