The wireless radios in their routers do not last... moreWell, in my little experience using TP-Link routers I've found them to work fine. I bought one for the crappy Modem I my mother got from her ISP around 7 years ago which had really poor signal strength, and well, this one was a really cheap router that felt like a toy (plastic body and very light) and had an antherna longer than the router itself... I was able to get three signal bars around 50-55mts from it without any issues, and up to now I haven't had any issues using it. The second one was purchased for my friend, this was a wall-breaker router with three anthenas (I was helping him move, he lives in a town near the city I live and I was just saving him the time to come to the city and buy the router), he knows about networks too, and well, We were able to get nice signal even around 60mtrs away from the house with no apparent problems.

Honestly, i don't even know what this thing for. They expect to sell this while some consumers don't even know what exactly is that thing.
200$ is pretty cheap for such a good AC router...
One Ethernet port? And they call it "Future Proof"?
speaker is for read out passwords for information hungry google
Only stupid millionaires will spend $200 on a device like this..... lolxxx..... Who wants a speaker in a router..... this is not innovantion.... but just a waste...... Like google do with other projects....!! :D
One ethernet?
yay for the connection capabilities but wondering why that speaker and why the hell you need an Android device to set it.... Like, being ABLE to set with one instead of requiring one makes sense, but like, any router can be set via that settings IP page, can't that one too (or they just didn't put it on the article)?
FromChinaWithLove, 18 Aug 2015I'm sorry. But, what the heck is the speaker for again? For the integrated Karaoke feature.
No Fan Boy...!, 18 Aug 2015Looks pretty good...! But is it worth $200...?"Built in partnership with TP-Link", no it isn't worth $199.99, let alone $50.
Looks pretty good...!
