I think that they should call it HTC HERO.
That is more beautiful and catchy than AERO , O2 , M10 or other codes.

HTC please don't ruin the sound quality of the front-facing speakers by waterproofing the phone like the Sony Xperia did...

God, HTC is so stupid. They were SUPPOSED to put an end to their confusing names with the One brand. Now they're trying to fix the One naming scheme? No wonder this company is hemorrhaging cash.

Patryk, 19 Aug 2015M7 is the best from one family...i have M8 and it's not that fast seriously...I agree - I wish they brought back that size with never & awesome specs - not everybody wants to have top spec phone with plazma-sized screen dwelling in their pants pockets.

What if O2 is just short for One 2? Then "One" is not truly over!

The M9's "leaks" were big deal too, and the final product was... the same as M8...

Currently on the m9, so close to perfection, could do with waterproofing and a fingerprint sensor, this new one coming out is just too big, 6 inches is ridiculous, even the note 4 which used it's size really well was too big and i have big man hands ; )

This 6 inch phone is far too big.

By the way the m7 gets a lot hotter than the m9, contrary to reports

It is obviously a bogus report. Mostly the product of a zealot's wishlist.

and I'm never buying a Samsung again until they get rid of touch wizz

If the rumored specs turn out to be true then HTC will be back in business. i hope the internal storage is UFS 2.0 or faster and not eMMC 5.0 though . That would be a deal breaker.

I am still on M7 64 GB Developer's Edition and pretty satisfied but itching for a newer one from HTC....it's been two and a half years now.

I like HTC's top end phones ...hardware , sound, UI, unlocked bootloaders ....

I hope HTC gives me a real (and not just incremental) upgraded handset....

For HTC diehards (been with HTC since wallaby...Blue Angel...) like me price factor is meaningless and compared to other so called flagships iit's always justified.
