HTC wants to become like exotics car manufacturer. overprice.. even with mediatek cpu. they are still overpriced.. better they sell all their factory. & concentrate on one factory only, like factory which build Lamborghini & ferrari so they can continue selling exotics device, "if you (HTC) consider plastic device are high end". sigh...
I feel pity for htc... could have ruled in mobile market... ui is smooth but their camera really sucks... anyways.. i read here at gsmarean that asus might takeover htc
I think the issue is that Android smartphones have way too much tech on them so costs are higher, having an SD 820 wont be cheap, I think what companies need to do is settle down already with the spec rush, 4 cores, maybe 6 are more than enough for phones, 1080p screens are more than enough, and decrease prices.
Anonymous, 20 Aug 2015Eeehhh??!They released HTC M9 and then a few months later HTC M9+ but only launched in China and maybe a few surrounding countries. Has not come to Europe or North America. The M9+ has all the features the M9 should have gotten.
Anonymous, 20 Aug 2015I am using HTC M8 and Yah it is so far my best smartphone, no issues at all. I would prefer to... morebecause u didn't try to root or flash custom, if u root or flash custom, u will find out htc lock too much on its phone, S-on, unlock, etc...
BobbyBob, 20 Aug 2015Rather a small factory!Exactly Bobbybob, why would anyone sell such a small factory in order to cut losses, surely there must be a printing mistake here.
htc many loss because buy salary of over 1000 worker factory htc?all worker price expensive?please me buy factory htc now?hahaha?
I am using HTC M8 and Yah it is so far my best smartphone, no issues at all. I would prefer to be with HTC
HTC is making best phone in industry. Samsung, LG and iphone is just crap compare to HTC great phones.
Companies will go for cost cutting to stay afloat. That means less money spend R&D. Short-run users benifit from price war. Long term big innovative comapnies dissppear and cheap copy cats remain. But then there wont be no more improvements or new innovations. I guess only Apple can stand out rest of the big mobile companies will suffer.
osterit, 20 Aug 2015I pray to god they go banckrupt. I have the M7. garbage and overheats. purple tint camera. 4m... moreYou must be joking. One M7 is among the best android smartphones ever. LG and Samsung crap don't even come close, well maybe except S6.
Looks like HTC will be another Nokia. Or, they join forces with Nokia and create something new and amazing!!
I pray to god they go banckrupt. I have the M7. garbage and overheats. purple tint camera. 4mp is not better in low light than other phones. its simply sucks ass. battery drains 1% per minute of use. everything is tweaked on the phone for minimum use. and battery drain is horrible. takes forever to charge.
had the desire HD and the tytnII (was sold without gpu driver-class act almost followed) before. what garbage phones. tons of models, same regurgitated crap every time. like nokia. year after year and small incremental fixes.
I hope they fall. same with blackberry and ms phones. we have enough crap in the market.
Prices are to high.
M9 price is also extra and Desire after Desire but one Desire = $ 400-500 and others offers high end phone with this price.
Anonymous, 19 Aug 2015As long as OEMs make pathetic devices, Apple continues to ace all the profits and OEMs have to... morei would love to see your house , thats almost 1,600 sq ft most master bedrooms dont even pass 200 sq ft. thats the size of an average 3 bedroom house. so obvious the numbers are off. but not near as much as your comparison
Jay, 19 Aug 2015HTC should spend 10 minutes every day on this forum and maybe take on some good advise and may... morenah, it would probably cost to much to have a 6+inch super amoled screen with snapdragon 820 chip adreno graphics 4 gb memory with removeable storage and battery, bose micro speakers in stereo output. all sensors , water proof to 50 meters. and a 20 MP selfie camera with a 40mp rear camera with all lte bands and gsm full spectrum for under 50$ retail.
