Why not join forces with Nokia. HTC focus on Windows 10 for Mobile, Nokia focus on Android. HTC get Nokia apps on Windows, Good Camera, and perhaps Lumia update (Not too sure deal between Nokia and Microsoft). Nokia get Sense, HTC apps on Android, and can use Factory to make phone. For name how about HTC Switch 5xx - 9xx (Desire is 5xx - 8xx), for Nokia I'm sure they have name already for their Android devices.

Salman, 19 Aug 2015I don't know what are they thinking.. Give a phone with 4gb ram.. An up-to-date snapdragon pro... moreAre you kidding me? The front speaker is genius. Hoping more manufacturer to do that. It make more sense that a rear speaker that project sound backwards.

You mean to tell me that a company that released a phone and then a few months afterwards released a similar phone with all the things the previous phone should have gotten but only in China is not facing a financial crisis and is having to resort to sell off its assets to keep in the black? Colour me shocked!

my One M7 is a Shangai made unit and it has the worst quality, like camera pink tint and panel gaps.

The best way to win the market is to sell volumes and more models not just one high end device (m9)..Lg is No.1 mid range phones like leon, l1,l2,l3 and makes cheap models...
HTC is just two models One m9 and desire models.
HTC phones expensive

I don't know what are they thinking.. Give a phone with 4gb ram.. An up-to-date snapdragon processor... 5 inches screen with QHD display.. With an SD card and a removable back cover.. With a decent camera.. And no on screen button.. Like who wants on screen buttons.. And a design... Normally HTC are good with design. And please get rid of the front speakers very few like them just making the phone taller.. A speaker at the bottom would be great.. Enjoy the profit then..

AnonD-79720, 19 Aug 2015I've had my One M8 for almost a year, and never had a problem with it being "burning hot".It's the M9 with the Snapdragon 810 that had the thermal issues.

As long as OEMs make pathetic devices, Apple continues to ace all the profits and OEMs have to keep selling their assets instead devices to make profits.

GSMArena,
I don't think the factory is 147.
That is the area of my bed room and bath.
I guess it is 147K
