i dont see why people keep bringing up the point about the keyboard getting damaged,what happened for years to normal bar style phones with the keyboard exposed all the time, iv still got phones years old that work fine.

It in no way, shape o... moreYeah, just the keyboard makes it different with iPhone.
And I have to say that I'm not Apple fan, I'm SE fan but not so blindly. I also like Samsung.
And for the name, I have to say I have Satio now and I used to have 5800 in less a month. The reason for the name is political, I've mentioned it many times(not here ofcourse). If you're into politices, you might know that many Iranian have boycotted Nokia because it have sold "Tapping systems" to the Islamic Republic regime.

What's wrong with making calls while driving? If you're not on the phone, do u ever talk to your passenger? What's the difference if you want to accuse me of distraction?

followup, if you wanna make a hinged screen, do a moto version of nokia e90. utterly wacky to have keyboard exposed to the elements at all times. y'all musta approved this one just after the xmas party.

motorola, do not waste your money building this phone. bad idea. and you're gonna get a lot of complaints about keyboards not functional after dirt, etc. scrap it.

I do respect your preference, personally I do prefer availability of physical keyboard, especially in the dark or when I'm driving.
Otherwise, would you prefer to type via virtual keyboard on your LCD desktop (Windows 7?) or still the old fashion physical keyboard?

will marseille, 07 Jan 2010moto is the best phone, i already trust in it...Given the fact that Moto did horrible sales in the past years until the Droid made a revival, none of their phones stand out from the others... (I remember owning that stupid v9 which doesn't play mp3 with higher bit rate then 128 so I returned it).
This phone is very likely they did as a 'quickie' after the Droid to grab as many customers as possible to stay with them. So, clumsy design, clusters of features from just about every other successful phones, copy-cats, hippie-ideas, you name it, that thing has it.
Just by the look and the flipping chaos I wouldn't even bother to take a second look and I do not see how it's going to be a success.
