Snapdragon 801 on z3 Compact has no heating issues. Have battery problems after the update? Ever bothered to do a factory reset? For me the battery life went back to normal with a reset. Some people complain about issues after updating the phone software, but they never bother to clear cache or do a factory reset. You come under that loste unfortunately.

It looks like Z1/Z3 Compact from back.Forget what I said, the volume button placement in this phone is much lower than in Z1 Compact and Z3 Compact. So this is a Z5 Compact. I only hope that 1. It doesn't have 810 2. PLEASE no IMX220 20.7 MP camera, it outdated, even Moto X pure uses IMX230 3. QHD on the full sized Z5 4. Better battery life.

The 810 runs even hotter.
And as you say, all in a even smaller body.
Sure, they can throttle the 810, to not run any hotter than the 801, but then, you hardly get any more performance. Not worth a years wait.
We can only hope they surprises us all with either somehow gotten hold of the 820, or by going with someone else than Qualcomm.
