This move might be desperate, but if given the chance, I will test drive a new phone for 1$ for a month any time! Aside from the regular S6 edge, this program will mean that less units of the Note 5 and S6 edge + will be available in the market for the initial sales.

It takes only IP address, because sometimes i post from my mac which also gives the same code.
I bought my IPhone in canada and serial number starts with DNPN ;-)
I have 8+ yrs exp in telecom and worked with nokia , qc and samsung .. But not apple

Nothing is ever free, They make you pay the $1 so they have your bank details in advance incase you decide to go walkies with their phone. Plus god forbid you damage it and scratch it etc, I bet there will be such a big penalty that it would be better to buy it anyway so win win for Sammy! And I also bet it will be a pain in the A&se to end end the contract and that will have penalties too and who wants to pay 2 tariffs? Bu I suppose it is for only 1 month.

Linas, 21 Aug 2015Doesn't matter how many apps you have installed, more important how many unnecessary apps you ... moreAnd that's exactly why iOS is a favourite amongst people, because if you've gotta do all of the management tasks you just mentioned to keep a phone running at its peak - that's not user friendly and we should never expect people needing to do that.
Phones aren't like cars that need physical check ups every year, and people generally aren't interested in having to maintain a software..

iPhone users do not need the high specs from Apple, they just need the minimized 8- 12 megapixel and 1-2 GB RAM and put 'S' to iPhone6 can make more profits to Apple.... Walla!

I love both Android and iOS, and all I have to say is that I've never had to replace an iPhone but I've replaced many Androids. Whether it's a Samsung, HTC, Sony, Motorola, or whatever.
Personally, I'm waiting for the Blackberry Venice. From what I've read, BB10 x Android hybrid. It's gonna be great.

This possibly is the first good and interactive marketing move by samsung. I don't understand how people see this as a desperate move, it shows that other target groups are already buying a Samsung or another less competitive phone brand than Apple. They are specifically targeting this to Apple users to obviously sway some Apple users into buying an iPhone since Apple is their biggest competitor. However, should be noted that many iPhone users want a phone that is easy to set up with no hassle and still works fine. So this move might help Samsung but those who want that simple and yet sophisticated phone will and should stick with an iPhone. So please, this isn't "desperateness" or a fact that "Apple is winning" this is an interactive advertisement.
