Samsung doing this kind of thing before Apple release its new S series iPhone, what a lame... Samsung is going down... The difference between Samsung and Apple is simple, Apple cares about it's users and you can see it from their ads, or just going to a Apple store, you will see how they will show you how worthy is the iPhone. Samsung on the other hand it's so desperate to get users that they try to bash other companies to get attention and their users are asking for stuff they like on their devices but at the same time Samsung is all about copy... Anyway, thats just my point of view... Can't wait to put my hands on the new iPhone 6S.

Adi T., 21 Aug 2015I was referring to Android 5.0+, which is a mess. (that's what these phones run)Actually, they run 5.1.1, and no there isn't any issues. I've had 5.0.1 on November 2014, and had since upgraded about a week after each release. There is nothing worng with 5.1.1, no matter how badly you wamt there to be. I didn't even notice the "memory leak" on 5.0.1-5.0.2 as I use a different LMK that frees RAM when needed.

I'm a seriously heavy user and experience nothing in the terms of lag. My Note 3 and S6 have always been quick. My 4S though was a different story. Never buying Apple's overpriced, under spec'd phones ever again.

As I have said- The "premium" sealed tin-can-glass S6Edge and Note 5 are meant for the US market ONLY(other included countries are for a cover). Samsung is hunting for apple-fans. Hard!!!! And this proves it.
US ppl are well brainwashed that "premium" sealed tin-can-glass "design" is most important of all.
That's why Note 5 was introduced before the Apple's event in US.
That's why EU version of Note 5 will come later.(if the rumors are correct, it will be different than the US version)

People often complain about Android phones being laggy.. that is not even Samsung, but rather Android.
Reason for that, people don't know how to use the phone, launches apps, leaves them open, do not check what permissions they give (e.g. running/downloading in background), never check apps manager and then comes crying that phone is lagging and battery only last half day.
This is purely, user error if such things happens. My phone rarely lags, and that is not related with number of apps. Sometimes ... (like once 6 months) I do full data backup + full factory data reset, then full restore. Battery life is amazing and runs flawlessly.
Small thing I have noticed - all my friends who switched from iphone or who uses smartphone for first time always are lost in the settings and have huge mess in their phones... keep reminding them to turn off features and apps they don't use.
Conclusion: Android devices are for experienced users who have some understanding about software. Apple is for retards or complete dummies, who either don't know how to use advanced settings or don't care.
This is both pros and cons for androids/Samsung.. it doesn't mean they devices/software is less user friendly, but because they have so many futures and setting, and high level of customization they might become challenge for inexperienced or dumb user. While it is opposite for experienced user which obviously gives much more futures and freedom as well as adequate hardware (not like crapple).
From marketing and commercial point of view that is obvious negative, because it will always the case that 90% of human kind are dumb and 10 are smart, hence Android/Samsung devices only really suits for minority of the customers.

Linas, 21 Aug 2015Guess why? maybe because there is reasonable interest ? There doesn't have to be if the dedicated handset numbers are only 100,000 for example. I don't think they are leaving the stock too open, there are a lot of iPhone users that could just take the Mickey.

In addition, why not offer a trade in for the iPhone? Why would you leave it up to the user to sell the device to recuperate the costs for a Samsung?

it happen all types of phone.
so the best solution if you have an high end phone dont make that phone like a break game, like 2000 in 1.

Clearly Samsung does not care about it's loyal Note customers, that's why they deleted useful features and are now pandering to iPhone users.
Let's see if this strategy to shun Note users and court iPhone users works for them.

I have heard comments that after 1 month all Samsung phones start to lag, even flagships an no octa-core procesor with 4 GB RAM can help at that. And it's all Scamsung's fault for scamming people into buying their crap.
I have S1 & Ace2 and they both start to lag after a few days.
My friend has a S3 and it just suddenly broke down, but he was really careful not to fill his phone with too many apps, he even kept installation apks on his SD card and installed apps when he needed them LOL. His S3 was fast (up to the point when it broke), but what is the purpose of such a phone that the phone has YOU in control and not the other way around?!
And another friend has a S5 and his phone is also fast, but that's just because he has also very few installed apps.
I'm guessing if you have more than 100 or even 50 apps installed your Scamsung phone starts to lag and a lot of people, who will take the promo will not notice this until it's too late!
