Step 3 : After 30 days, they ditch iPhone

Step 4 : After 6 months, phone starts giving problems and software remaibs outdated. Those minor annoyances start to grow.

Step 5 : People get fed up

Step 6 : People will wait and get next iPhone

Step 7 : They start loving iPhone even more than ever before

From being a Samsung fanboy (mainly thanks to their replaceable batteries - not any more) I am now Sony'd up. I love my Sony Z3 Compact (replacing my S4 Mini) which is fast and smooth. Much more so than my mates S6 which still stutters on some screens. Oh, and the display is just as good - you can't tell any difference from normal viewing distances.

Too desperate imo.
I'm a long time Samsung user, but i'm really having a hard time maintaining that affection... I was waiting for Note5, but now im open to any new badass phablet. I'm looking at you LG G4 Pro.
