They release too much crap phones even month, they cant update it anymore. they should just stick with the S series, A series and the Note series so that they can update it on time.

A5 should have the same fate with only selective few countries get the Lollipop update, while the rest rotting with Kit Kat eternally.
This is Samsung way of sending their current customers to China bramd like Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo, good job Samsung you just digging deeper grave to bury yourself like Nokia.

The old iPhone 4S is still receiving the iOS 9 even though the phone is so old but the Galaxy S3 doesn't. Although the spec is still possible to accept the newest version of android. -_-

I was Samsung Galaxy s3 user, after Samsung didn't give update to kitkat, i was so annoyed with Samsung, like they don't care even for their flagship devices, they only release lot of galaxy a,b,c,d,......, s....,z each year, but they don't provide support, that's why I jumped to iPhone 6 plus, and now I am getting timely updates and I am sure too i will get updates for next 2 or 3 years or even more. This is what an international company do, who never wants their customers to leave.

The pulled it back because once the phone updates its not good. I got my update for my galaxy note 3 1am on Tuesday and after that it canned my phone it won't stay on I'm in the engineering business so I need my phone. They said the only fix is factory reset which is not ok, sprint contacted Samsung and all they could say was its a manufacturing issue and they and they apologized. Needless to say I switched to iPhone which is sad cuz I've been a Samsung customer for 6 years

i've got a feeling the s5 mini won't get an update either. rubbish samsung. you can get better support even from unknown chinese brands.

lg g user, 21 Aug 2015guys thats why i dont use samsung...they promise something that they wont do for their phones.... moreEven if you get S line or even note line, still you are waiting for major updates more than you should. For example Note 4's in the country in which I am living, got Android 5.0 on march 2015, but Google introduced Android L on June 2014, and we saw android updates on nexus after 3 months from Android 5.0 release. Also, Samsung galaxy S5 will not receive android 6.0 but Samsung introduced S5 only 1 years ago, but on the other hand İphone 4s is still receiving update which is 4 years old.

I have huawei ascend G7 with the same specs as the E7, huawei already made the beta lollipop update and looking for testers for the release in the upcoming months. Glad I'm not a samsung phone user

guys thats why i dont use samsung...they promise something that they wont do for their phones....if u want to update on android atleast 2 mayor upgrades u mest get the galaxy s line and nothing else forget about note or a or e or prime lines forget about that because if the top line s are not being upgraded then how another will be just think about it..in my country those devices are overpriced and that something bad for buyer and no worth for money bad move..thats reason many people leave sammy.... then they release a low end device with half of the specs with latest iu and features shame on that
