Lets take a selfie! :)
Jarret, 22 Aug 2015More bigger, more risk of breaking if it droppedForget about dropping it. I don't think you could even lift it either. That is basically a tv. Or a CSI like digital table. Nice one Samsung. The spec is just rumors. Real device will be different.
Anonymous, 21 Aug 2015The battery isn't even twice as large as my 5" phone, yet the tablet has a 18.4" dis... moreSo you're already judging based on "rumors?"
Now u need a back pack for this!
More bigger, more risk of breaking if it dropped
The fact that we can put our cup of coffee on it means that it come with waterproof feature. 5700mah sounds about right for a TFT screen that is only 119ppi. The size of screen shouldn't drain battery.
This is the new mini tablet :)
If it's a tablet, it means it needs to be mobile. Samsung has to make it light or maybe even flexible or foldable. Or else, it'll be just like an ordinary TV set or PC monitor.
OK we got it. All the tech media made a HUGE buzz about this device, that it's just simple affordable low specs all-in-one PC meant for schools and such. Nothing special here, but...
The reason to write articles this way, is to make ppl mock at Samsung. And things to look even more funny, BGR called it- the rumoured iPad Pro 12.9" rival. LOL(no matter that Apple actually copied the Note Pro 12.2")
And of course the simple minded ppl started to go mad at Samsung. The trick works great!
But bashing Samsung must go on. Right???
It's a good idea. But it's all about how they market it. Cause students that have small rooms will love this cause it can be used as a small full HD TV as well as a tablet. It should come with a remote control and stand as well I think.
AnonD-432311, 22 Aug 2015Why do Samsung not put a decent battery is their tablets. I hate the way they do that. My tab ... moreAbout how much screen on time do you usually get for both devices?
I rather want to see the big table rather than the tablet :)
The tech media made a big deal of this device, hoping you to moch at Samsung.
But this just affordable low specs all-in-one PC meant for schools and such.
Well we know that bashing Samsung must go on. Right?
Just wait for galaxy tab 18-2 next year and everything will be nice
Why do Samsung not put a decent battery is their tablets. I hate the way they do that. My tab s 10.5 battery completely sucks and they are getting smaller instead of bigger. The ipad air battery is great.
TFT ?
Full HD on 18,4" display ?
5700 mAh Battery ?
2,1 MP Front Camera ?
Hahahahahahahahahaha...
LMAO! OK Samsung we get it. You're desperate. You did create the phablet market. Now you're trying to create another. 1080p @ 18.4", 2GB ram and ONLY A 5700mah battery? Damn. That's pathetic. At least make 10000mah battery. Ya know? 1st to market with a 5 digit battery? Hell, at 11mm thick and 18.4" diagonal I bet you could fit a QHD screen minimum, 20000mah battery, 4GB of ram and micro type cusb and full size type c USB. I truly am hoping this is just a prototype you whipped up and had some random outside testers to play with to see if there is even an inkling of interest in this. Drop the backside camera, mandatory software navigation, mandatory stock Android with full source code released and the aforementioned specs and you might have a deal. Hell, while I'm dreaming (how stupid the specs sound) it better have some badass P-OLED screen that pulls out for a keyboard. That might at least suck in the tech nerds. This is an absolute fail as is. Release it with stock marshmallow and full source code and it might have a chance. You know how and why? I might be interested then. If this has even a hint of touchwiz with even one physical or capacitive touch button (unless said touch button is some cool auxiliary feature) this is dead in the water before you even get the boat to the ramp.
AnonD-424293, 21 Aug 201518.4 inch screen 5700 mah battery samsung you gotta be jokingYou have nothing to say about
119 ppi screen, you can't even count pixels...
Exynos 7580 SoC, 18.4" calculator...
2 gb ram, turtle speed...
Look forward to apple saying nobody wants a large tablet, then 3 years later inventing the large tablet....
Great! But risky to handle.
