Sony teases advanced focusing for upcoming Xperia Z5 Comments

If they release a phone with a CPU from another brand, that offers a lot for performance, beating the 810, why then wait? there will Always be something better around the corner.

But it does have more CPU power than the 808.
And it does have a better GPU, than the 808.
They cant have the Z3+ beat the Z5 performancewise.
That would be like a Z3+ Minus.

They are not that powerfull, keep in mind that the ones built in to DSLRs often don't have enough reach, and they are bigger and have bigger deflectors. Xenon do however drain the battery more than LEDs. They can't be used for video. And dual tone flashes actually give better color balance. Xenon can't be used as flashlight either.
There was some research going on, for more compact, more batteryfriendly Xenon flashes. But long since I heard of that last. Maybe they haven't succeded. They can't burn out too quickly, and they have to offer more power compared to LEDs and they cant drain the battery much more, so there are things that can go wrong...
It's too bad that Sony fell for the megapixel race.
I mean, the RX100 series have about the same resolution, but that has a much bigger sensor. And OIS. And a brigther lens. And much higher quality lens for that matter.
Ok, even the RX100 could have been better with lower resolution, so yes, Sony kinda fell for it there too... But they did the A7s.
I'm note sure enough people would buy a camera centric smartphone from Sony.
What they need is a good camera in a stylish flagship device.
Unfortunately other have been better at delivering camera performance while using sony sensors. But they do have camera humps, or are much thicker in the part where the camera is located compared to sonys Z series.

Sony is my favorite phone I had so far. Hoping for this Z5 to have major changes, if not, I'm going for LG G4.

It will be kinda interesting to se what CPU they will be using.
Is the SD820 despite what we heard.
Surely they can't gor for the 808, as it would then mean the Z5 would actually have less of a CPU and GPU than the Z3+.
Are they going with another brand?
What, then?
And of course, will they finally get the imaging right?
And will the device have a camera hump?
The supposed leak for the Z5 compact, didnt seem to have one.
But then we can't expect OIS.
And what about the lens? Will the aperture be the same? Will the wide angle be the same?

Bro, 25 Aug 2015Hoping they get their camera software rightYeah im hoping for that as well. Im still to this day still confused why they never stuck with their Cybershot series. They could have implemented that into the Z series. Cybershot was brilliant at the time. I think they should have also done some form of research in making a more compact Xenon Flash.

We been waiting long for a worthwhile upgrade. Especially me. I skipped every 'upgraded' model so far. I had the Z1 and each one after that wasnt a worthwhile upgrade. The Z3+ seems decent, but still not a bigger leap. Lets hope the Z5 makes for a much needed upgrade. If not.... Then ill stick to Huawei's flagships.
