this phone very similar with my nokia 215.. sms capacity is small, sms/call ringtone not louder..
better spend more few money to buy s40 phone like nokia 208 or nokia 301.. both phone model same as nokia 215/222 also..
I'm just hoping this new feature phone can take advantage of Bluetooth MAP so that I could read my SMS and answer phone calls while on the go
As owner of iPhone %s, Blackberry Classic, Z30, Z10, GS6, G4, and HTC One M9... I would gladly welcome this phone into my team
who is launching this phone nokia or microsoft?
well feature phones remenbers me when muscis players were the reason for mobile battles... nokia with its xpress misc, sony with walkman app, good memories....then the camera battle nokia with its carl zeiss, sony with cybershoot,lg with sneider lesns ,sammy with good cameras too, then the battle for the most futiristic and near camera style phones like Nseries and other phones reacing 8mpx even the 12 as sony satio,... now it is boring because most of phones battery life simple cant stand for more than 4 hours on screen 100% brightness unless u take thaat to 50 - 25 %.... battle of multi cores but no special apps to exploit that yet.....manufacture are going beyong and beyong and still all apps can be run easily by a single core processor and demanding games by a sd 200 processor ....so it is single and dual core ...compared to these draining battery mosnters useless for now and outdate by future when apps will be found.
there are many people who prefer compact phones with impressive battery life instead of carraying a big phone with lot of features.
AnonD-152638, 25 Aug 2015The 220 had as big of a battery. So did the 215. and 225. I dont know much about todays fea... morein my country, phone company releasing this similar phone with 3.2mp, 3 inch and 1400mah battery
if they truly want sell this like hot cake why not release 3xx series with 3.2 inch with slide keyboard, 3.2mp autofocus camera, 1600 mah battery. 480x320 resolution, flash light, stereo speaker, 3G and wifi

Actually they are 215's n market, same specs, all previous lot leftovers, as 225 222 215 all with minor differences. I think Nokia may be resold and loss booked by MS. But its name carries onn, till ur generation lives. There maybe 3310 and 1100 too as leftovers. Niche market always fr a outdated fone. I sold my E63 Nokia after ten years original batt and fit fart.
These days we give face value only.
Assassin's creed brotherhood mobile......that really brings back memories. I wonder for how long opera mini will support a symbian or java midp version or has it already stopped updating?
Just bought Nokia 7110 and its awesome...
It's from Microsoft with Nokia brand name just like a couple of Lumia phones.
So disappointed that they used series 30+ in this phone. That means you can't download java applets etc. All they had to do was use series 40 and modify that s40 and add ability to multitask. Then this would've been the perfect feature phone.
AnonD-152638, 25 Aug 2015Just a heads up people.
Microsoft owns Nokias mobile business. They bought the featurephone... moreI don't think so.
All Nokia Service Center in my city still owned by Nokia. If ownership changed to Microsoft, would they changed to Microsoft Service Center ? :D

The last thing I remember about feature phone in early 2000s is that their battery never reached 1000mah. Since then, I switch to touch screen smartphone. Forgot everything about old tech.
Nice phone, my aunt will love this. Too bad no whatsapp included. :(
Just a reminder, Series 30+ is made by Mediatek, and it's different than Nokia Series 30. It doesn't support J2ME app. You can read further detail about S30+ on wikipedia.
We need a variant with nano sim, just for weekend use :D
Wow, those specs are really so over 15 years ago. I'm surprised, considering with technological advancement I thought even the cheapest of the cheapest components are better specced.
