The fact the it "looks just like an iPhone" is completely wrong, in my opinion, and this is a critic to you, GSMArena, is because HTC introduced this very design in 2013 (metal unibody with plastic strips for the antennae) with the OG One. And Apple kind of copied.

I don't think HTC will benefit from making a phone that looks startingly similar to the iPhone 6, but I think it's kind of unfair that they need to change a great design they pioneered because the biggest fish in the pond decided to take it as its own. You can't blame them for continuing to exploit an innovation they introduced, really.

HTC had a winning design with the M7. Original, awesome, amazing. And now this for a supposed ultra flagship? What has happened to you, HTC? Chinese phones are doing this. If I wanted an iPhone lookalike I'd buy a cheap no name Chinese Android phone. Really, HTC needs new management. I used to love HTC and this really makes me upset.

HTC is known for there design and doing this wouldn't help them because, We all know how stupid the average consumer is, and they'll quickly say it's an iPhone, I know HTC can make great products but using this design similar to the iPhone would gave them back popularity just allot of backlash from the fan boy reviewer/ press

Sites like this always like to stir a controversy. The phone does not look like an iphone and anyone who sees it that way is pretty unintelligent.

The Iphone looks like HTC only no one said that ever because apple is way more popular but the Iphone 6 looks like the HTC 7/8/9 from the back (you definitely can see the Iphone is inspired by the HTC 7)
