RTFM! Or at least try to use touch to distinguish two obviously different sides of stylus.
Anonymous, 27 Aug 2015samsung needs better designers. Their designers seem to replicate whatever apple is doing. Doing the same thing over and over again?
Newest thing Apple changed is a bigger screen.
hahahaha lmao :D remembering some Android fan boy saying this is "the most advanced stylus phone" hahahahahahahahahaha once again Samsung proves it knows nothing about premium design... they should stick to cheap plastic pieces of Android :'D lmao
Why is this being defended by some people? It's clearly a design flaw on Samsung's part! PERIOD. WTF.

AnonD-322352, 26 Aug 2015You'll pay more attention when you're aware, but for the uninitiated, like your friends and fa... moreum it has a clicker, so you need to also add you have also lost all sense of touch while your in the dark. and thats only if the pointy end is a dead give away. what you should have said was im in the dark watching porn and my wife walked in on me in a rush so i had to put the spen in real fast
Anyone who is worried about this should also see if they can talk into their phone.... while under water.... does the user manual cover this???
AnonD-422891, 26 Aug 2015Only stupid people think that you will never make an accident. :-)now that comment is getting into the realm of philosophy. one could say there is not such thing as an accident. if you would have been paying attention in the first place it probably wouldnt have happened. its why some states have gone to no fault insurance. because if that lady wasnt driving texting and putting on make up at the same time the school children she ran over probably would still be alive, and there would have been no "accident" in the first place. its a shame they have to make laws to get people to use common sense.
They need to build a better Human Center Design Team in Samsung...
They designed a stylus that is uniform in shape but requires the user to follow the correct stylus position in the phone or it will cause permanent damage...
Anonymous, 26 Aug 2015If this was Apple, this would be on tonights news.no if this was apple, you would have had a commercial saying your putting the pen in wrong stupid. or they could have been cheap and just rehashed the your holding your phone wrong .
Anonymous, 26 Aug 2015Why would you want to put it the wrong way??This is just a non story, to yield a negative front page headline.
Who on earth, whilst gripping the pointed slipping from your fingers, curved, nib ,tipped end, would try to guide a square blunt end, with its collar, into that device whole.
Sometimes, you wonder if all, who call their selves "Android", are really Android at all, most of them seem to find themselves needlessly cribbing Androids biggest, proponent, whilst, perpetually, comparing it to Androids biggest rival, in an unrealistically unfavourable way.
Nothing to see here, and if you think otherwise, I can pm you an offer of some bulk buy plastic forks, just so ,you can , play it safe, in your recreational space.
No really, 26 Aug 2015It's a pretty serious and thoughtless design flaw. Not much excuse.LOL. No it's not. Even if you think about how the stylus is designed, you realize that to have anything to grip to pull the stylus out, you need to click the top part out first. If you put it in backwards, and it fit, how are you supposed to take it out at all?
People are just idiots, and can't figure out how to put a stylus in. This is in no way Samsung's fault.
I have to agree with samsung here, just read the manual. do they really have to come up with something so that people are completely unable to put the stylus the wrong way, or are people just idiots?
AnonD-256438, 26 Aug 2015who needs a stupid stylusFor business and productivity of course. You can sign forms you receive in emails without the hassle of printing it out and re-scanning it; it saves a lot of time. You can also write a quick note and view it later. You can even write/draw on the Android desktop and save the screenshot. Why not even draw something? There are so many possibilities... but I'm guessing you don't have a Note.
