hi plez tell me how do i update my phone
High Definition video recording, for the first time on a mobile phone. Omnia HD records video in the HD 720p (i.e. so-called "HD ready") resolution consisting of 1280x720 pixels. And yes, it's really that resolution, and not any kind of interpolation or other digital software processing. This results in videos being EXTREMELY detailed, something not seen ever before on a mobile phone. Videos are clear, properly focused and sharp although HD videos don't fully match the HD standard because of their frame rate, which is between 21-22 frames per second instead of the advertised 24 fps. The question is if we should complain about it while no other mobile phone comes even close, not to mention offering anything better than that....?

This is the best phone out there ... it doesnt need kinetic scrolling i love it the way it is after using n97 ....
screen is more than perfect ..
AmoLED kicks Iphone n N97 ... Black color on screen looks jet black ..fun to watch videos ....
and the best thing is .. i put AVI files directly on it .. with any conversion of pixels or formats ... and plays it like a charm ... awesome sound n speed ...
This set is surely better than Iphone n N97 (used both) ... cant say about HD2...have to use it first :)....
Things i dont like :
No FM transmitter
QWERTY isnt good but still useable unlike n97 with no qwerty
Design is a bit cheap ..china style mobile .. but still doesnt bother me as it never hanged like n97 ...

poor firmware support. haredware that we cant use(fm Transmitter) the worse camera ever. my N95 took better stills.
think i will try sony next.
Lot's of trolls from other telecommunications companies. I do notice that KOrean companies generally do not hire Paid bloggers to attack other phones on blogs. BUt American, and maybe European ones do. I would not doubt IF Apple was behind the Samsung hate.
italian7, 12 Jan 2010too bad they promised home updates for the samsung i8510 innovated an NEVER followed through.
... morewell it's good to know that they did the same thing with i8950
now i'm definitely not buying samsung phones again.
bye bye samsung.
Anonymous, 13 Jan 2010what? nokia 5800xm? what are you talking about? nokia touch screen is really badI have the Nokia 5800 XM and yes the screen does need to be pressed hard compared to iPhone. This because it uses resistive screen and not Capacative like the iPhone. Although Nokia X6 uses Capatitive so it should be iPhone killer!

[deleted post]Is there any news regarding Pixon12 firmware? Cause Samsung is coming out with a firmware that doesn't bring any improvement to the previous one. And why does Samsung-firmware.tk only coming out with Euro and no Asian firmware?
