They make it limited so repair and manufacture cost is very low. Not many owners too. It made per request since they are handcrafted smartphone. Apple will never be able to make it. Just wait for Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

seriously apple is never going to give you sapphire crystal glass because they would lose so much money from phone repairs and also then not be able to sell refurbished phones as easy...

A lot of manufacturers are putting up new cases for iphone 6s on Amazon and also they say -it will fit the current model also...... So that means the dimensions of new model will be identical to the current model.
