Guys the Blackberry OS 10 is excellent! Really very good, you should try it. I prefer it over android, and since you already have the ability to install Android apps on it then it's giving you the best of both worlds.

Blackberry are well known for their high security and privacy which is something that android lacks and are trying to work on lately.

I prefer the original Blackberry passport silver edition over a pure Android Blackberry handset. Although the recently leaked Venice should have Android on board customized with Blackberry software additions so it would be a better choice than a Vanilla Android.

Seriously if you're looking for Vanilla Android( pure android without manufacture customisations) than you're better off with a Nexus and Moto not Blackberry.

Whilst I can appreciate BlackBerry wishing to ensure it has a presence in the Android ecosystem I hope, as I'm sure many do, that the company will not abandon its BlackBerry 10 operating system. It is one of the most underestimated systems on the market.

Blackberry with Android could be their saviour. Huge app store & familiarity will make this a hit. Slide out keyboard is interesting - not sure I'd user it as I'm used to swiping over my screen.
Let's face it - this phone ain't meant to be a looker - but it sure has lots of practicality - which is old school and refreshing. Kudos BlackBerry for sticking your neck out!
