i love sony phones but they lack in innovations and adaptations.
when everyone is planning for snapdragon 820, they launched another premium set with 810 despite of the overheating problem in z3+
they are not listening to people when everyone is saying that they should change their design a little they aren't giving a s|-|it to customer opinions. even samsung despite of being on top listened and changed their crappy looking S series a bit (its still crappy though)
they always launch something that is old enough in other mobiles (only exception is camera)
their marketing is poor...
I think they want to join Nokia and BB club ASAP lol

This is just great sony beated Samsung in the race to 4k.LOL.
Anyway sony still holds the display with the highest brightness of 800 nits in z3+ which is far from iPhone 6 and m9 which have about 600 nits.

craperia...i bought z ultra 8 months ago....for 19k...charger pin side phone broken...after 7 months...i go to the sony service centre in thrissur in kerala(india)...they demanded 8k rupees...then i go to near local shop....they just asked 1k ...and it working now
xperia has really cheap phone quality...and has very poor customer care interaction

Apple has been conservative about their iPhone design since the beginning and they're selling phones like hot cake. It's been obvious that people don't care about design as long as the phone is practical and easy to use.
Use proper English when you reply. Not sure what's the first thing to disable. Again your argument ain't valid as it's purely subjective. I'm talking about what Sony has to offer in a handset. As for the build quality, Sony rarely faces anything like Antennagate or bending phone horror stories or the stuck pen in Note 5 phablets etc... If you check the device rating on GSMARENA, Sony has been in the top of the list for a long time.
I still believe in this brand and awaiting for the Z5 premium review.

Where is the leaked confirmation that the SoC will be 810? It doesn't seem realistic that the leap forward with 4K, etc would still be paired with the known weaknesses of the 810, mitigated or otherwise. I know the 820 is a long shot given its production timeline but is there any -hard- indication yet of the internal specs, RAM for that matter too?

Who cares + First thing to disable after buying a Sony + 6 months or more for updates + Same design since first Z + OK build quality + Bland UI + I have an Xbox = useless + latest android after 6 or more months + Name of Sony brand is not what it's used to be, now it's POOR, Kickstarted, Bashing competition

I removed the bsckpanel on my z3c and closed it again with a smoother glue to avoid cracking. Which is mostly happening cos of vibration of loudspeakers and hard glued cos of water-resistant. I still have dust and waterproof but will not make diving sessions. If the new compact with fingerprint scanner has same battery life and better material quality it will be my next phone. Else I stay happy with my z3c and yes it's the first one which stayed longer than 3 months with me.

btw , 0.03 second =30 milliseconds , it's incredibly fast even faster then dslr systems...
for comparsion lg's laser auto focus system has 276 milliseconds.

Sony has the best display hands down. Their Android customization is much better than HTC and Samsung. I've been using my Xperia Z since 2 years and this is the only device that stayed in my hands for more than 2 months ( no iphone / lumia / samsung / BB or any other crap )
Their design is very classic and elegant, the true signature of Sony ( like the Vaio Z series )
The battery health is still outstanding after 2 years unlike other manufacturer.
I've dropped my phone countless times and beside scratches screen is intact
Sony respect their loyal customers and support the device even after 2 years ( my Z is now on lollipop with planned upgrade to MM )
Water and dustproof + X-reality engine + TrackID + great support + elegant design + superb built quality + great UI + playstation compatibility + latest android vs + the name of Sony brand... What else do you want ?

Changing resolution is genial thing from sony, it saves battery so it should last longer than G4/S6...
