A truly disappointing selection of Android smartphones this year.
iPhone , here I come !!!
OK with everything except for the max 32GB memory in the absence of a expandable storage. 32GB is so 2014.
Hope it has wireless charging. I just bought a 2013 Nexus 5, and for a phone that is 2 years old, spec wise, it is outstanding. And my last was a Note 4. It's fast, lovely to hold, looks superb in it's understated way, and having 3 wireless chargers dotted around home and office, it's nice to be able to sit it down without faffing around with a USB cable/plug.
Only downside is the camera that cannot handle low light, so hopefully the 2015 Nexus 5 will offer wireless and a low light camera. And in black, the same understated design.
16 or 32gb of storage,it is 2015.

AnonD-280781, 31 Aug 2015samsung s6 have 2500mah batteryMate i have nexus 5 and a galaxy s6. In nexus 5 i get just 3 hours SOT whereas in s6 i easily get 4 hours SOT with the same usage and s6 has a bigger screen plus double the pixels.
S6 screen costed me 11000 inr(170$) and nexus 5 screen costed me 8000 INR (125$) both were replaced within a month but got the nexus 5 screen replaced from outside shop for 4200 INR (64$)
Won't ever buy a LG nexus , costly parts plus defects plus poor battery life. Service center asked 10000 INR(150$) For power button issue. Just google nexus 5 power button issue. Went to a local shop and he fixed in 600 INR (9$)
I think it's just best to keep my nexus 5 32gB and replace the battery with a new one.
N5 2013 still blazes through absolutely everything one can throw at it in everyday usage.
some people here think that a good phone need to have 3600 mh battery, Snapdragon 820, 4gig ram... and 100$ . please dont comment so stupid. Better to don't care about numbers and more care about how flawless and smooth runs a phone.
32/64Gb and 3000 mAh battery would've sold me and would've made the phone more competitive, otherwise the specs are meh, besides it'll cost more than $400 anyway.
Why do manufactures still make 16GB phones :( Just a waste in my opinion. And 32 is not enough now a days. And I was so looking forward to this phone. I hope this is somewhat wrong

Sad that they didn't put the 810 in it, the 808 is like in every aspect exept 64 worse than the 805...
I do like the design. Its simpel and clean. Of course I still nee to see the whole picture. Specs are only descent if the price is right and that can bee an issue if I look at previous Nexus creations... Even not bang for the buck and that is sad knowing that emerging OEM's have already starting flooding markets with cheep but descent products. Let's hope that the coming batch of Nexus mobiles will have a competitive price setting.
AnonD-51736, 31 Aug 2015I stopped reading after 2700 mAH battery!samsung s6 have 2500mah battery
Honor 7, here I come...
my next phone,I've waited a long time for such a good nexus and probably it will cost less than nexus 6 with that hardware
If this is true, a disappointing selection of Android phones to choose from this year, particularly on the battery.
Most underwhelming Nexus devices ever. Nexus 6 still a better choice than both, though the 5.2" model seems like a lackluster but worthwhile upgrade from the Nexus 5 at this point.
