Finally releasing..
Reviewers will find lot of negatives.
People will compare with Samsungs, LGs, HTCs and Oneplustwos. And they say apple missed so many features.
BUT FINALLY, APPLE WILL SELL THEM IN MILLIONS & MILLIONS.
So i guess samsung will be copying this force touch feature next year in their s7 no doubt. lets break it down samsung copied apples first iphone design, then they copied apples icons then white ear phones and even the shape to then they copied apples small white packaging box then they copied non removable battery, then all glass and metal design but that was meh, then they copied no memory card slot.
Light touch,heavy touch?
Heavy touch reminds me the days of resistive touch screens.. :-P
These days no one would like to press hard the screen of their expensive phones. It may end up to a 'crackgate'.
By the way, I still could not figure out what is force touch and what's it's utility.

Apple with this and sapphire crystal hardly tested want to remove the home button for the iphne 7

Long touch and short touch is more convinient. This Force Touch introduce heavy touch and light touch but not much applicable in apps other than gaming apps. Maybe useful for punching games?

It is already on use: short touch-long touch and for many users - how you make difference between heavy and long touch or light an short touch???
I am not convinced - it looks more like apples abbacadabra.....
Orch, 01 Sep 2015Maybe this year the force touch is more then shortcut to things...but i think in 2 years will ... moreTypically, when Apple do something, there is a rather well thought-out purpose for it. Not always completely amazing in its first iteration (eg. Siri), but becoming more powerful with each and every version.
In the case of ForceTouch, I think it'll simplify how we use our phone, since that is exactly what made Apple popular in the first instance - multi-touch gestures on a capacitative touch screen.
Imagine a same touch on two icons one for call and one for msgs ( rofl )
Maybe this year the force touch is more then shortcut to things...but i think in 2 years will be a must and normal thing to have in a smartphone
