It is a perfect timing for Samsung to use Tizen. They all start from zero. Smartwatch only exist since late 2013 unlike IOS, Android and Windows that is almost a decade old. There is not much in android wear apps anyway same like Tizen and Apple watch. It is a still developing category.

Both these watches are not restricted to samsung phones only. They are compatible with any android phpne running 4.4.4 or above having 2 Gigs of RAM.

Huawei and LG watches are as pricey as Samsung's so no surprise here. Moto, Asus are the most affordable. .I'd rather buy a Moto 360 2 than a Tizen smartwatch

Tizen is not a good choice.Android Wear have much more developers involved in it.Also,this Samsung clocks will be probably locked on Samsung phones again. Oh,and OS updates and bug fixes?Yeah,right...
