Anonymous, 05 Sep 2015You're comparing Z3 Compact which released in 2014 to an old Galaxy S3 released in 2012 -_-Yes? And it was a marvelous upgrade that I'm very happy with. Despite the same screen resolutions, the screen on the Z3C is just that much better. Just making a point that even 720p screens can still hold up, even 3 years later. The phone is only 4.6", after all. The battery life is also on par with my S3 when it had a 4400mAh extended battery.

That's why Sony keeps losing money. Another product variation costs investment for additional production line. They should learn from Apple.
Does Apple create special product version for US home market? Nope.

Sony should make it available worldwide... moreIf this rumor is true, then this phone is probably a collaboration with Crypton. AKA it's exclusive to Japan, and is also impossible to not have that Miku logo at the back of the phone. You can probably import one if u want it so badly though :P

that compat looks as amazing as the big brother premiun ..... there is a big diffrence in scareen resoltion and ppi if 1080p looks good with 5-5.5 inches display then with 4.7 will be really crisp,,...plus 4 gb ram and more battery this is good ...this is a real compat device not that international version is bed just that this is really a mosnter of pocketable device,

is it just me or Sony should really design something new, i get that Sony's design is great but really from z1 to z5 or t or m or any series these days, what's the difference, is glass body the pinnacle of smartphone design?

Z5 compact international market is 720p, for japan market is 1080p Z5 compact premium and the best part based on the picture above is that it comes with hatsune miku version. Hope sony can launch it internationally.

I don't think will be with 4GB RAM because the Z5 Premium have 3GB

Screen for me would be fine at 720p, more is unnecessary. RAM wouldn't need more than 3 Gb either, but any battery bump would surely be welcomed. For me though, what would make a "premium" version worth the money would be a brushed aluminum look (either silver or charcoal) instead of the plasticky side trim, and either darken or lighten the rear glass to match. The current washed-out grey-black is like a mixed-up kid who doesn't know if he's coming or going.....
