Guys, I have upgraded my Lenovo A6000 plus and yes I must say I was also facing the problem of contact sync, heating and battery issue. But what I did was simply transfered all my important apps apks and file from phone memory to my pc using Share it. And then I did a standard Factory Reset for my phone.
Believe me I love my phone now. WhatsApp sync error gone, no double contacts, heating problem gone and battery backup is nice. I thank the Lenovo team to finally come up with this update and I m pretty sure they will soon come with a small update to rectify the bugs.
Camera is great now, no grains.
Audio profiles are missing though.
Overall its a nice update. Just reset it after the update. Make sure to take backup before that. :)

Please let us know by when this issue of Whatsapp contacts disappearing & double phone contacts will be resolved.
Always check bugs before releasing any updates, like good companies.

Great - Happy to get my device upgraded to the 64 bit OS.
However, the call log is not showing the contact details, ring tone set for individual contact is not working, contact uploading to cloud is not happening...and many more..

i am updated present lollipop version. i am facing somany problems with lollipop. Contatcts didnt add to the whatsapp contacts and sound was not good and any app lock didn't support for lollipop. plz solve these problems to make lenovo better . and finnaly mobile was heating wn i am playing games and using mbile..

I too got the same problem. All the other contacts from Whatsapp and Viber have gone. Lenovo guys should have checked this. Any alternative??
