I have lenovo A6000 and my phone also received update for lolipop 5.0.2 yesterday.
Ya its true that phone will become deadslow ... Not resposive...and brings a lot of problems ..errors ...It was disappointing though as it was mush awaited update.
But slowly I figured it out .
>I had to restart my phone alot .
>Changed launcher to Google now launcher
>Some changes in notifications (google if you didn't know what settings affect)
>Cleaned cache
>And Full charge... Changed animations time to 0.5
Now its working perfectly fine and much faster.
Havent done factory reset yet.

Lollipop 5.0 is really worst update to Lenovo 6000, its gives so many troubles, phone deadslow, dont update anyone please.... after you update you can understand the problems

Lenova A6000 plus is updated. after doing this received a notification as google play services has been installed with wrong architecuture (armeabi-v7a) which is diffiernt from your device architecture (arm64-v8a). how to rectify it. Whats app contacts also disappeared. kindly give us a remedy. Because of this gmail is not working.

1.Backup all your data.
2.Go for factory reset..
then it works fine...the same works for me.
