From here iPhone will not have much to offer than little gimmicks 2D - 3D etc...They prolonged the display size as far as possible now they have very little to play around with form factor! Or, may be they will announce iPhone 2K display sometime in 2017 and amaze their followers!

720p is fine for a mobile of this size anyways if you are given 1080p display on one side and 720p on another you cant c the difference..
