AnonD-80082, 08 Sep 2015I thought I wanted to leave this debate but the more you write the more you make it fun. So... moreSo, when Sony engineeers work on Z2 what happen with that huge overheat problem?
maybe they make mistakes and wanted just to release first 4k display but not proper run everything at 4k@60fps?
Man you don't know how to be quiet and learn to respect somebody that maybe he is right, until the Z5 premium is not for sale for the masses we don't know if that adreno can keep up smooth in anything with that 4k display

Hmmm...4k display and some 8million pixels is hardly justified in a screen less than 6in. It would only serve as a ba3 comsumer. But i love sony.

AnonD-152638, 08 Sep 2015Whare are you talking about? 4K video, should run smoothly on this device. If it supports 4k ... moreYou are right IT does support 4k..im not saying that...where i ever did saying that.
Orch is right, but one thing is just to support 4k and the other to keep with it
I mean you buy 4k display on mobile device today to use it in 2 years...check for example the data from sites ,no 4k,games no 4k, mail no 4k...so you buy a think that is not hardware perfect to run everything at 4k @60fps but even so, there is little content for it out there

Bob, 07 Sep 2015Why do people use 'need' when trying to justify their opinion? I mean people don't need a phon... moreNot enough people will "want" it to save Sony's mobile division woes :)

I don't have very good eyesight. I use glasses, and could see it, even with my old ones, that had lost some of their sharpness.

It's easiest to see on a completely white page/document. But when you noticed it, you start seeing it everywehere. It's not that you see it, because you start to look for it, it's more that you starts to understand what you've been seeing all the time. A single colored background/picture never really looked completely colored. Unless display tech changes, we need really high resolutions. Also, we need the gap between pixels to shrink. The Z5 premium moved forward in both those regards, if it was enough (for me at least), I dont know, as I havent seen it.

Give it a few years and Apple will be there with a 4k display and all of sudden it will be acceptable in this world. Ridiculous phone politics;.

You can still pick out the noise on a QHD screen? That's quite good eyesight there. I could still see some fuzz on 1080p screens but I can no longer see them on the QHD screen of the S6. Even though its has fewer subpixels due to it being an AMOLED. You've seen the G4, but what is your comment on the S6 screen?

ou can simply display a full HD photo on the screen and see whether it is displayed on the full screen. I think full screen should be the case because Sony uses xreality.
Another test is to stitch four full HD photos and display it on Z5 premium, it should be able to display the whole photo, no need to scroll.
