I like their phone but I hate their rear camera position to the top left like Apple. I also hate that it is totally an IOS wannabe. There is no apps drawer like normal android. :(

do people really need/want that curved displays??
they actually DECREASE available screen estate for web browsing / movie watching.

changes for the sake of changes???

Yes then Apple blatantly copied Samsung by releasing phones with larger screens. It was only a few years ago when Steve Jobs said that he would "never release a phone with a screen larger than 4 inches". Apple take technology already available, refine it slightly, then tell everyone they "invented" it!!

SAMSUNG is the biggest copier in the industry .
Everybody knows the secret behind there success 'Copying'
At early stages ther copied Apple , made money by selling their devices at low cost . Then after making money they are now investing in R&D and now they are a established brand .
Apple copied too in many sectors . They paid many small brand to buy their invented tech .
So, it's not a problem . No, brand borns as a established brand .

obviously, this chinese company is capitalizing on the success of others. they are hoping that they can replicate what samsung did for their galaxy edge series. they may produce products with matching or slightly superior specs, but they can never stand out in a real sense that they dont have a "personality" of their own in a technological viewpoint. they will always be that company which is always one step behind in everything else - R&D mostly as they are always basing their tech and design over others as most chinese companies do.

Look at Sony, Samsung and even Apple. They invest time and money to produce phones that standout from the rest. But then again, these chinese companies dont care about copying. What's more important for them is to make more money in the fastest easiest way possible, but with a lot of compromises that leaves them shorthanded or undesirable in several significant factors. Ultimately, that will determine the stigma of the brand to consumers, as they are the ones who can tell that these products, good as they are, will never be at par with well established brands.

The well known copier in the world. What do think Huawei mean anyway? In chinese it directly translate as 'chinese-doing'. By the way, this curved screen is not the first brand to follow Samsung. Blackberry Venice is the first. The prototype is already out. Hands on photos is all over the internet.

That's why there is no 4K, that's why there is no qhd screen jet and that's why it has a terrible gaming performance.
But if there comes a qhd phone it means that they must have improved this, so be patient and than make yourself an opinion on the new phone

truly to say Huawei devices are nice looking handsets, but most worst thing is the price, honestly for the same money i would prefer other flagship devices(like Samsung or Sony), because the use their own Kirin processors are not so much known and well optimized, the only worth thing is the design for that, thumbs up .
