takis, 22 Jan 2010Gigabyte makes good hardware, but thanks to crap support and software, its phones are failures... moreI disagree with your opinion. I have had a fantastic experience with WM702. It has a fabulous hardware and one can download good software from freeware websites.

to guy who posted at 2010-01-20 15:45 the statment about number of device in 2009 on mobile os is irrelevant. The case her is that opposit the symbian S60 till 2009 was WM 6.1/6.5 which is in some things better but in most of them worser. if u know when was android relesed all over the world on mobile devices u'll see it is far better result then some symbian^1 and wm^6 .

$300 is the NON contract price. Which means that if a carrier like AT&T or T-mobile picks up the handset here in America, the phone will probably be sold with a contract around $100 or less. That is pretty cheap for a smart phone.

Thinking about 3G powered smartphones I better buy a Nokia E63 or a Samsung i637, but if you want a touch screen phone I'd buy a Nokia 5530 or the cheapest 5230, all of them are cheap smartphones.

Ludwik, 20 Jan 2010Cheap ? in quality, yes. In price no! My T-mobile pulse cost £137 (about 160 euro) o... morecertanly agreing with u.. But most of d people dont know about the PULSE- and it's available almost through out europe(where t-mo is situated). The phone has better specs than both above mantioned(tatoo and this1)- so, if u're into spending, 1 should at least conceder it...
                    3.5in capacative screen,528Mhz Qualcomm,128MB ram,3mp camera + even more goodies....

If anyone can release an Android-based phone for the magic £99 then that would be a winner. Obviously asking for a 2.0 would be too much but 1.6 would be an ideal OS to have on it.

The price f this phone is 212 € so it is more expensive then htc tatto which is better phone and jet it isn't the chepest because the most chepest android phone for now is huawei 8220 or T-mobile pulse. And one more thing symbina^1 is slow and buggy with lots and lots to remake and learn .

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2010hmm... for US$300, i think most people will buy Nokia 5800 instead...I agree with you.

                              210 euro is not cheap.

There are cheaper android phones about, with similar or better specifications!

2MP? 2.8" QVGA screen? The screen legibility looks awful.

People Who Does not care for a good camera(like me) this must be the best choice. Asus is a Great Company so I am sure it will not be that cheap in Quality (price?). Good Luck! This Product Will Work in most parts of the world.

My T-mobile pulse cost £137 (about 160 euro) on PAYG.

It has a 3.5 inch HVGA screen and is a true rival to the IPhone.
